Since tomorrow is Christmas Eve, and RL schedules will overcome all of us. I'm posting this now. :)

Over the past few months, I've come to view each of you as a good friend.

This thread is filled with some of the most wonderful people in Second...or any...life. You truly make the world a brighter place, and I am humbled, and honored to have come to know you.

No youtube, or fancy photoshop. No special building magic to impart as gifts. All I can offer this year is this post. As the holidays reach their peak, and this year fades to make way for another, I would like to wish you the warmest wishes from the bottom of my soul. This Christmas, each and every one of you hold a special place in my heart:

To:
Maureen - you shine like a beacon, lighting my way.
Honey - a true friend, and wonderful person
Amara, 3Ring, Elora, Lindal, Lil, Kaimi - Each post a gift to all of us, thank you!
Lexxi, Ann - Kitteh's to fear. My ears will never be the same! :D
Claire - The darling of the thread, and official jerboa-cage holder. :)
Damien, Yosef, Mac, Pep, Soji, Vamp, the absent Ghosty - the gentlemen of the thread, it would die without you
Brenda - strong, and enigmatic
Oryx, Gabriele, Rioko, Love, Roisin - I'd bend over backward for each of you

and of course the lovable little bundle of energy, Marianne! Who's weekly updates remind everyone how to stay young at heart.

Finally to the new faces: Key, Avawyn, Lewis(welcome to this side!) and all the others who I'm sure I've left out.

Christmas is finally here
Full of laughter, and joy, and good cheer
To the threadies I wish
This small holiday dish
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

*ears and whiskers quiver* So....where's the feast? Huh...huh? *bounce bounce* :D

(Edit: I hadn't moved Vamp to the right spot...sorry V. eep!)

*snore* I just realized that I've been staring off into space while petting the dog for the last few minutes. I'm beat. Nighty night! (One good thing about winter is that it's much darker during the day, for sleeping!)

GM all...

My TP issues continue, and are contagious. One of my friends/tenants is having trouble TPing to and from my sim, as is Kash as he tries to come home and leave. Makes freebie hunting impossible. *sigh*

Who wakes up sick two days before Christmas? Yep, you got it, and don't even get the luxury of laying in bed, because most of the support staff is on vacation this week and someone (read: me) has to be on the phones and get out a 240 letter mailout. *sigh*

My mom arrived from California yesterday...so my SL time is going to be severely curtailed until the 2nd of Jan. *sigh*

Can I please go back to bed now??

:( all sorts of yuck in there. have fun with Mom though. maybe she'll cook a lot! :)

Jerboa, you are a love. I've been saying since you got here, that you are the nicest guy to grace this Forum since, well I can't remember when.

As for the missing Ghosty, I'll pass your sweet wishes to him. He's taking a little break from SL; passing time in WOW and working on his art as he searches for a job. He intends on making a re-entry in January, most likely will be throwing a fancy get together at his gallery.

Have a wonderful holiday!

My scariest fog story was when I was living in Milan. In the winter the fog gets so thick, you can't see across the street. I remember looking out my apartment window and thinking someone had hung a sheet over it.

We had a friend who'd been out of commission for a long while, on account of a terrible car accident. She'd made an amazing recovery, was walking and driving again...

One night, after a party, I went back with her to her house, many miles away on road through the valley.

Of course, the fog was as thick as ever. It was like a dream. I couldn't see ANYTHING beyond the dashboard, and the cars coming from the opposite direction would suddenly appear when they were a few feet away. You couldn't see headlights or tail lights... nothing.

Plus, I didn't know the road at all, even if I had been able to see it.

My friend did, so she drove at 100 kilometers an hour, and talked to me the whole time.

"Oh there's a famous tower over there... and here is the river..."

I didn't dare to turn my head, and my mouth hung open the whole time, I was so frightened. My eyebrows nearly went to the back of my head, my eyes were open so wide.

"Oh, and here is where I had my accident!" she exclaimed.

Jesus Christ, did she have to *tell* me?

I suppose it would make a great roller-coaster ride... it scared me to death, and I was ready to kiss the ground (if it weren't so dirty) when I stumbled out of the car.

WOW! reckless friends are fun, aren't they? i would have been pissed if someone drove in those conditions above 1 mph - scratch that, i would have gotten a hotel room somewhere.

that is the scariest story so far!

On another topic, how's everyone's weather for the holidays setting up and travel? Here it's rainy and expected to rain on Christmas, but I don't mind as long as it's not flooding rain. It's moderately raining on and off.

finally sunny today, but quite cold. big ugly storm expected to lay in from Alaska tomorrow and run through xmas day - which completely curtails my xmas travelling plans - which i am really broke up about. this will be a 'first' xmas experience that i don't want to experience. :(

and another of Mistress and the one that is not Mistress

great pics. LOVE that little festive holiday dress... err.... attire.... errr, well, whatever it is that's covering up your naughty bits. :)

Taconic Trail is worse. *shudder* Not as bad as where 3 was...but potentially fatal just as easily. But then I grew up living halfway between "Hairpin Turn" and "Dead Man's Curve".

 you learn to repsect gravity and physics real fast in these sorts of places!
