well folks, my bedroom is spit spot clean, i'm all done shopping, everything is wrapped and under the tree, the stockings are stuffed and all i have to do is shop for food and cook and deliver a few gifts locally tomorrow.... oh, and now i just found out i have to travel out of town for all of xmas.... which means i have to bail on someone xmas eve  and take the WHOLE show on the road. *sigh*it's snowing, and i just really don't want to travel in it. ugh. _____________________

Can I just say, I hate fog. HATE it.
The journey back tonight was through a patch of fog, and its the worst I've seen it, on a really windy road through the hills, we couldn't see the lines on the road, or the end of the bonnet. Driving at about 5 mph on a road supposed to be 40, we were scared we'd get hit from behind. We couldn't see the bends until it was almost too late, and they didn't have any cats eyes on the bends....which is stupid. A couple of times we grazed the metal barrier on the outside edge of the road  _____________________

Driving is liberating. Who wants to wait around for a ride all the time? You'll like it once you start I bet. Oh definitely, I don't mind taking the train into The City, but if had to depend on someone else to get around all the time, I would go crazy. Plus it is just so enjoyable to get into the car on a nice day and go or a drive and just explore. |

Ohh I totally understand the freedom, and I'd love to be able to just drive out for a bit, but I love public transport.....most of the time, and the thought of me behind the wheel of a hunk of metal capable of doing serious damage.....its scary. I have zero hand/feet/eye coordination lol.
