I would like to note that I'm still at work. Do not work evening shift (or afternoon shift).

Stupid work is interfering. I'm already very tired and my eyes are being strained. They will be useless later tonight.

/me refers you to the discussion in the Underpants thread regarding Tentacle Monsters.

I read that thread earlier than the appearance of tentacle monster. I think I'll have to go back now and re-read it based on this.

I have got to stop letting RL interfere with this forum. I wander away for a few hours, and everyone gets mushy, and then starts comparing their underwear!

Choosing to jump into the forum was the best thing I did when starting this whole second life stuff. You are all the best!

(Am I supposed to talk about underwear now? :D )

As long as it isn't mushy underwear. Then you'll need to take a bath.

I think I just spent the quickest $300 in my life, on something other than shoes, or involving throwing dice. I had my fireplace and chimney cleaned this morning. I 've been in this house 5 years and never used the fireplace. It's a small house really never needed the extra heat, besides being too lazy to deal with it. :p I had a new furnace put in last year and it was recommended that the chimney was cleaned to improve the efficiency. Besides the cleaning some repair work was needed inside the fireplace, cement and stuff. So wham bam, in and out in less than an hour, I have a ready to use fireplace and I'm $300 poorer. The joys of home ownership.
We had ours cleaned last fall and that guy found that the back of our insert had a crack and so we had to spend about $2000 to replace the insert.

I didn't watch any of the coverage. Have those idiots at CNN learned to not start calling a winner at 5PM ET when half the country haven't voted yet?
Barely - I heard they called Obama the winner within 2 seconds of the west coast polls closing.

And to top it all off, I had the pleasure of dancing with not one, but two adorable ladies who didn't run away screaming.
And I still don't have a limerick.
