Phil. Read it, digested it, felt the constant patronising diverted from the actual subject, and ended up being amused by how quickly it took you to pipe up again.

I actually think I'm a passable smartarse. You've cut me to the quick, Phil.
LOL. I was watching football - I thought I was slow.

Conclusion: if Vittorio was as breathtakingly patronising to people in RL, the probability of him being punched in the face on a regular basis would be pretty high.

It's pretty correct, luckily i do have (usually) around ppl with pretty high intellectual skill so they doesn't end their (verbal) arguments, so it often finishes in front of bottle of wine (not it doesn't not end on my head in the end). :)
Anyway i know i sound "rude", it because i try to expose the concept in a direct way (and my english sure doesn't help sometime :) ), but when i've repeated you the same thing 10 times, when i've exposed the facts, when i gave you any sort of reasons (that isn't my "idea", it part of my work) i can't continue with the courtesy reserved to a 5yo child, i've invested part of time to explain you something "new", you should learn, if you don't believe what i say, open a book and get informed, but do not continue with a sterile post that ends with: "I don't believe your technical skill because you don't work for Linden Lab"... you should say: "I don't believe your correct because <fill it with a serie of motivation on how it's supposed to work>".
Cheers!

Did somebody answer this, and I'm missing it?I haven't tried it with more than five accounts, but it would in fact be fraud to use anything other than truthful RL information when registering. This wouldn't be prosecuted, of course, unless the account were to get in trouble for other reasons, but if the RL identification information is turned over to law enforcement (as in response to a subpeona), and the authorities have to work to track down the identity because the information supplied wasn't accurate, it will not be a friendly game of hide-and-seek.

For more than five accounts, I very much doubt that one would have to change anything, but if necessary, one should be able to get away with non-deceptive changes (different punctuation or abbreviations, with/without middle name and/or initial, etc.).

Well, someone claimed that people are allowed to have infinite accounts as long as one used a different e-mail per five accounts. Then I cited 2.4 of the TOS, and asked whether registering more accounts using multiple e-mails were possible, if one uses the same exact identifying information for each e-mail. After I asked that question, some people lost interest in the thread.

That, to me, answers the question.

Conclusion: if you would read and digest what Vittorio has to say, instead of trying to be a smart ass - and failing miserably - you would be much better off for it.

Vittorio:
You cannot win the argument. You and Colette have different intentions in the discussion. She isn't interested in the topic, or in common sense, or in knowledge, or in understanding. She is only interested in trolling - keeping it going. It's what she does for fun. But you *are* making her look silly ;)

Translation -

Because I do not agree with Phil,

I must therefore not be interested in the topic.

As you infer here that I lack intellectual skill and should be talked to like a 5 year old, I'll try to explain something to you.

Even if I am wrong, I am not therefore also stupid.

I could be stupid and right, I could be stupid and wrong,

I could be intelligent and right, I could be intelligent and wrong.

Whether you explain it to me 10 or 50 times it still doesn't mean I am stupid if I do not agree.

I stated my opinion you think I am wrong, okay, whatever.

But the rest that goes with it is just some personal problem you have with me I guess.

My guess is you didn't like me referring to you and your wife's avatar in such an impersonal way.

But when all is said and done, an avatar really is not important. Its the people on the other side of the screen that matter.

I think the fact that LL limits you to 5 accounts per email account is a big HINT they would like you to stop at 5 accounts.

The fact they have no practical way to stop you notwithstanding.

You are. Either you, or France, or both are going out. The Holland vs France game was excellent.

Okay ..

Look ..

We don't edit other people's quotes around here to put words in their mouths.

I don't know what slimy 2 bit forum you come from, but even the most disreputable posters here don't do that.

You used the quoting tool to change what I said. That is beyond rude in a forum.

Holland *should* win (if they draw you can still be ok), but you do have to beat France. That will be a game to watch. I think you will do it.

I've partially quoted what did you wrote. I did exactly whay you did some posts above to me, ignoring parts of them that where uncovenient for you. I NEVER edited your words (ops.. then you are wrong again!). :)
Beside that, it was clearly ironic. I may continue for ten thousand years with you, but it's getting boring and i've lost interests to you. I'm sorry, we need to stop here, after some "cabaret" it isn't fun amymore. :(
Bye Colette (i'll ask Phil to remove you from his ignore list, so you may continue with him and have a better luck)! ;)

I added to my post after you wrote that. I do think that you will beat France, and everyone thinks that Holland won't lose to Rumania.

YOU CHANGED MY WORDS

What I did was not to bother addressing some of your arguments.

there is a *WORLD* of difference.

Even Phil never stooped to that bullshit.
