From: Yosef Okelly /me chuckles Now there's a newbie, and I don't mean that in any negative way. It does not take much time for your SL name to become as much a part of you as your RL name. LOL!! guess I've been spending a *little* too much time in the RA Forum today!

From: Maureen Boccaccio It sounds like you need some PIE. or, at least, ice cream. chocolate cake usually does the trick (lactose intolerant so no ice cream) I just need a break, nearly 2 years on here, does kinda wear one down (I know some folks have even been here longer than that) but I spend an easy 8 to 10 hours a day in SL, and the forums.... toooo damn much!! Ahhh well time to find that snack and see what is on TV (away from the laptop, be back later)

I sent you an attachment to wear if you ever need to change in public. Wear it. Change your clothes using "add to outfit" and "take off" options from right-clicking folders. Then detach it. And you've changed without ever being nude in public.
Just a handy dandy gadget that you'll never know if you are going to need.
Keep or trash as you desire.

I frequently change my clothes at the 'place that must not be named'. I have also had occasions where I have shown parts of myself that others may not have appreciated seeing.... I am just glad people were preoccupied with IMs etc while I was changing last night lol. Maureen, welcome to the mad house! I cannot wait to meet you If you search for the Corra region, it is a protected water sim next to the sim with the 'place that must not be named' on it. It is low lag and I have only ever seen one other person there. I used to change there (underwater) when I didnt have a home - i can never be bothered searching out a special place to change. Also, if you have a flight assist, fly super duper high, where no one is around and change. And you are welcome to come to the non-advertised super secret - must not be named in the forum event. Make sure you join the group so you will receive notices - as i am no longer permitted to update people on the forums. pssst...if you are not part of the group and need updates, use pm or im and we can update you!

When I was new and homeless and before I learned how about replacing clothes and/or creating outfits, I used to do one of the following: Find a nice deep bit of water and head to the bottom.. OR Go to any sand box, knock together a quick platform, link a smaller cube as a seat - sit on it and then send it up to a nice private height. In the early days it's a simple way to find some peace and quiet too. Just a couple of ideas..

Hi Claire, and thanks! I will check out the Corra region. In addition to learning about good places to "drop trow" so to speak (but not really since I have learned about "add to outfit" ), I am really having a great time seeing lots of different places in SL. Everyone was very welcoming at that super secret place last nite (this morning? aaaaa). In fact, two very attractive cats (no naming names, right???) even did some pole dancing for me. And yes, I tipped them both.

Also there are sopme wierd bubbles up there which you can use to bounce back down to earth lol.

To quote the one who let me know I forgot to go to bed and might consider doing so: Max: "Good morning."

But the bull was very friendly and allowed me to stay on for quite a while without flinging me unceremoniously to the dirt (grass? sand? heh...don't recall what the terrain looked like since my face was smashed into it).

Yes, good job staying on for 21.xxx seconds. The ground right next to the bull is mud, outside that circle is grass (or green painted ground).

Well, I am hoping you would have told me if I'd had mud on my face for the remainder of the evening, so I guess I must have fallen to the grass. And by the way, I checked out that dinosaur place....COOL.

Here is one thread that might help to find some cool place to visit: /327/1c/229319/1.htmlI, personally, have not been to every place listed in that thread. I will also throw in a recommendation to visit "Privateer Space" - that one you will need to find via the map - open map, put privateer in the search box, teleport over. heh

To quote the one who let me know I forgot to go to bed and might consider doing so: Max: "Good morning." I appear, people in the EST region are motivated to leave almost immediately. Fortunately, I am thick-skinned and choose not to take offence, instead, I celebrate the fact I perform a vital social service for the more bleary-eyed among you.

And I am sure there are some appropriate clothes-changing places as well (I thought I better throw that in, in keeping with the title of the thread). I can see now that I am just going to have to....take an extended leave of absence from my RL job in order to make my way through all those places. Yes, I am sure they will understand. It's research, right?

I saw it during last evening's tour, but did not give it a tryout. and...penguin throwing? Bring it on!! But only if we don't hurt the little critters...much...
