I'm afraid to say this because I'll get burned at the stake for mentioning a busness in here, and getting burned at the stake isn't anywhere near as much fun as it sounds, but if you were to go to put "Grendel's Children" into search, you might find a place with that name that would blow your mind with the different avatars you can have, and the prices are ridiculously low for what you get. Being a Dragon is FUN. You can go to Avilion and refer to everyone as "food" but tell them that they're safe because you're a Jewish dragon and they aren't kosher. (I told you all that my RP was just not normal)

I'm just suggesting a search term, not promoting a business or anything. Being helpful. It's what we do here in RA. We certainly don't suggest she go the Forum Cartel Hangout. Heck, we don't even mention "Forum Cartel Hangout" in threads. Even if we really want to invite her to the party we're having next week at the Forum Cartel Hangout, we wouldn't do it, because promoing an event like the Alt Party at the Forum Cartel Hangout would be wrong, and even if it makes total sense to mention the Forum Cartel Hangout and the Alt Party in the forum which created the Forum Cartel Hangout, we wouldn't do it because we're all law abiding citizens. Except me. and Chris.

And there's a party? I like parties. Can I bring a cake or something?

The party is on March 7th, I believe. All invited. It is an "Alt party", but you do not need to come in an alternate account.

I wouldn't dream of correcting myself and saying that it will not be at the Forum Hangout, but instead at Rioko's place next Friday from noon until probably late evening, SLT. I also wouldn't mention that it is an alt party, so a bunch of us will be there as our alts rather than our main characters, but that everyone is welcome to come as their main if they want. I certainly wouldn't tell you that you are welcome and we'd love to have you there, even though you are and we would. If I were to say these things, it would be advertising an event, which is wrong, wrong, wrong. Immoral, unethical and rotten to the core. It would also make people question my IQ, apparently. This baffles my mind, probably because of my low IQ. I just recently found out that the IQ test is scored differently than golf. I thought the lower the number, the smarter you were. Boy, oh boy. Was I ever wrong about that!

I'm lazy and will be coming to the alt party as me, Maureen, so feel free not to use an alt. Particularly as you don't know any of us yet.

It never struck me before how oddly appropriate it is that golf is scored inversely to the way IQ is scored.

Anyway, Rha, your mirror sounds cool. I can't think offhand of what is making your scripted mirrors not position your avatar correctly ... if you want me to take a look at the script, I will. I'm an amateur, but I assume you don't want to post it in Scripting Tips because you're planning to sell this product? I don't sell anything, lol!

The only reason besides saying Hi that I have for chiming in on this thread is its title. At first, I thought Soji had posted it. As a were-leopard, he changes his spots frequently.

Maureen, if you happened to be in the vicinity of Lebettu, and happened to run across one of our community clamshell teleporters, and happened to teleport to the Mount Olympus Club, you would find yourself in a very attractive and private skybox sort of thing 700 m above the possible peeping toms. You could change there.

Unless there was an event going on. But you could STILL change there. Since it's a Greek-themed sim and club, the ladies would probably be in Cretan outfits (Cretan, Trout, not "cretin", you cretin. Bare-breasted, you know?) So you'd fit right in while you changed.

If you'd like a landmark to said club, meet me at the super-secret, non-advertised Forum Cartel Alt Party on March 7 at Rioko's beachfront place. I'll be the alt with the yellow rose between my teeth.

I keep score by counting the number of things that my golfball hits that it wasn't supposed to. Other people=10 points, cars=5 points if parked, 15 if moving, 30 if an accident results, birds in flight=50, golf carts=5, houses=1 unless they are over a block away from the course, then its 10, geese in the water hazard=10. The beer cart girl= -100. You never want to hurt the girl who brings you delicious beer and snacks - that's the first rule in golf.

And here I was going to respond just to post a picture of me as a leopard, the other part of the were-me. But . . . how long has this Cretan themed party with the bare breasted women been going on? Sheesh . . and I waste my time going to live music events

Both are there, but it is a Dinosaur park. They are confined. I mean, what could happen, the dinosaurs suddenly getting out and rampaging? Like that could happen. Wait . . there was that one park . . . something involving jurassics . . .

did not post in the tips forum because I was more looking for a completed script, not so much a tip on how to do something (tips if more of if you know what you are doing kinda place, at least that is how I see it)

it is like, you (general you to those doing such posts) are tying to rub in the face of those of us that were a little vocal about advertising in the RA forum

If you want to talk about the damn thing, do it, but please do not do the snide grade school comments, it is unbecoming and hurtful, knowing that the comments are there because people like me voiced an opinion

on that note I am gonna pop off, before something does hurt more than it should (close to that now, why do I let it hurt... because I am human that's why)
