I haven't seen a furry in shoes yet.

Are there any avatars who go barefoot regularly in SL? Feel free to post here! I do on my home sim, 'at home' or around the estate. I"m often in a swimsuit, stilettos just don't feel right. If I'm working, terraforming, doing 'stuff' on the sim, yeah I"m often barefoot. |

Pep ( . . . although personally he prefers to go topless) As I hit the 'Submit' key, I thought, wonder who will be the first to object to stilettos and swim suits not going together.... It's a 'different' type of look, though, appropriate for some places but pool/beach lounging? Swimming, sailboating? /me pulls stiletto heel out of the crack in the sailboat bottom for the 100th time.... |

I'm glad you were very careful how you phrased that last sentence, Treasure!

Well, I try and cover my av's feet unless at an SL beach. Those clodhoppers just are not pretty!
Lots of pretty open-toe shoes in SL. Too bad about the toes themselves, although I've gotten past it to some degree. So, no. Just be glad Crocs haven't waded into SL fashion. |

Are there any avatars who go barefoot regularly in SL? Feel free to post here! Unless what I'm wearing calls for shoes/boots (summer skirt, shiny latex catsuit, sometimes blue jeans) I'm barefoot most of the time. Jackie. |

Just be glad Crocs haven't waded into SL fashion. Well, I like wearing a pair of paint-splattered rubber clogs. They are deliciously ugly. I like going barefoot, too. Those stilettos pinch after a while. |

In fact they are called 'Ugly Brown Clogs'. Came from Red Ruin and are Trans. Would you like a pair? Would be glad to send you some. They're great. |

Those stilettos pinch after a while. Maybe the reason avs have such ugly feet is because they spend too much time in four inch spiky heels. Strippers' and ballerinas' feet wear out quickly, I think. IRL I like boots, and/or chunky heels, and *gasp* flats. /me turns this into a shoe-discussion thread just to annoy Pep. ![]() |

About 1/3 of the time I don't wear footwear. Depends on which of my 80+ avatars forms I have on that day. A lot of my furry forms *can't* wear footwear. Doesn't work with digitigrade legs and hindpaws, or with hooves, or on quad animal forms...
A lot of my furry forms, I have two variations - with digitigrade legs, or with Human-style legs and feet. The latter for when I want to wear shoes or boots. As a Human, I tend to wear shoes unless dressed for swimming, or subathing, or going to a nudist area. Or when in bed, of course... Usually, however, Ceera is a bit of a clothes horse. I like fashions, and have more dresses, shoes and boots than I can count, to suit my whims. While as a Furry I am quite comfortable going about without Human clothing at all, I tend to be considerate of my Human neighbors and fellow-residents in SL, and so when out and about I tend to dress by Human standards. _____________________
Sorry, LL won't let me tell you where I sell my textures and where I offer my services as a sim builder. Ask me in-world.

Yes, the shoes that come with feet in them, well, once one gets past the grim mental image there, are still akin to clapping clay over the problem. Skin tone, fit, invisiprim, all leave a bit to be desired.
Plus they are overpriced. Boots it is. |

I go barefoot a lot, in my workshop and at 'home' (looks down at her feet and says 'yup IRL too'). Sometimes if I want to pop out to a shop I don't put shoes on but usually I dress my feet before I go out.
