If a hapless "stupid ottoman" shopper lands on a Gor sim, and there are no Goreans there to see it, do they still start a war?

Well, I do tend to blame myself when the objects of my derision don't understand that I'm making fun of them, giving them the benefit of the doubt - perhaps, I tell myself, I'm not expressing my contempt effectively. But you're absolutely right; I'll just have to face the fact that you're too ignorant to make the necessary realization. Keep talking Pep (Maybe you will convince yourself) _____________________

How sad is that? Pep (Knows sadness) Sad?? I think it's crap like this that keeps me coming back to SL every day. lol I'm half inclined to squeeze into my loincloth bikini, sneak into the "fortress" or whatever it is, and help kick start the whole thing myself. |

We had aventure into a certain gor Sim as of lately and in turn in recent weeks have had more and more gor traders and slavers flying slave raider tags appear suddenly on our sim. No action so far has been taken but we are more than concerned. SO, as a preemptive, our sim has purchased multiple inter-sim nuclear missles. These were once banned because they will crash a complete sim and cause total havoc. These newer nukes were reworked to come back into TOS approval and are a bit more precise and legal but still very effective. We traced the gors back to your home sim and, after succesfull recon have effectivly targeted all living areas and possible jump points out. No less than 52 missles are located wthin 3 sims of this gor homeworld, awating a order that hopefully won't come. But know this, that if you attack our sim we will obliterate yours for days on end. We also have been playing with pyhsical weapons and have produced a few that really do damage. we are not griefers, we do not go out looking for a fight or stir up trouble. If you leave us alone we'll leave you alone. Simple. BTW your swords and traps are no match for technology. If we are attacked and we retaliate, will the Lindens get involved? A strange game. The only winning move is not to play. How about a nice game of chess? |

If you offend them ENOUGH, they can rembember that Gor in fact IS NOT A MEDIEVAL WORD IT IS MORE TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED THAN OUR EARTH(Spaceships, planetary movent, even possibility to see everywhere and kill everyone on whim)
Problem is (almost) only Priest-Kings of Gor have access to such things. But who says nobody can RP Priest-King after being nuked? |

As far as I could tell.. no. Probably because of the recent bout of more entertaining threads.

So...was there a nuclear war yet? Didn't we determine that the nukes wouldn't work? I think the only thing getting nuked is the popcorn and maybe some quesadillas. Personally, I hate nuking the nachos. the cheese gets all crusty. Nachos are much better in the oven. Pile on a ridiculous amount of cheese, melt it until it's all bubbly, burn the hell out of your fingers getting it out of the oven, then pile on fresh salsa, sour cream, olives, jalapenos, etc. mmmmmmm. Is it healthy to have a giant plate of nachos for dinner? _____________________

Is it healthy to have a giant plate of nachos for dinner? It's got corn! The cheese has milk! And the salsa has tomatoes! Peppers are good for stimulating salivation for better digestion! It's very healthy, when you look at the ingredients! _____________________

Is it healthy to have a giant plate of nachos for dinner? Marianne gave me a box of radioactive popcorn. Maybe she can make a popcorn cannon? The really great thing about radioactive popcorn is that it never gets cold. You can use it to melt cheese, plastic, titanium... |

In Gor we trust!
Put a stop to all these attempts to spoil a perfectly chidlish discussion with common sense. OP loses by default! that said, BRING YER NEKO ASSES, WE'LL PLAY VET!!! oh and its kind of cute to lower your land by using nukes, but there is something way cooler that probably wouldnt get returned to sender before it detonates; http://www.slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=367367 |

That is one of the coolest things I've ever sen on slex. Now I have to see if there is a sim named Kansas...... There's Dodge City, but for the record, the anchors of Tornado Alley, North Texas and Oklahoma, have the heaviest concentration of deadly tornados. Then they move up and hit the trailer parks near Wichita (South Kansas) - at least that's theory where I grew up near Wichita. That's one fairly big tornado. You see one like that, you want to go to the fourth floor of the building with a six pack, so you can see the tornado AND the police cars running around with the lights flashing, and drink beer. Hit the stairwells when the ceiling tiles start sucking up... |
