Thanks for all that you have done for us and all that you have put up with from us. This forum is as much a part of my SL experience as actually being in world, and I have always appreciated your efforts to ride herd around here. Enjoy your break! I join the voices that hope to see you back soon.

Heya Strife! Good luck and get some rest from all this nonsense. You do a great job and despite the crap you put up with from us, we really do appreciate you. Thanks for being tolerant and not banning or suspending me for all of my shenanigans.
Aki - don't listen to a word Strife says about all my shenanigans. I've never done anything wrong; I'm completely innocent and Strife is just out to get me. Ask anyone (please don't) they'll back me up (no, they won't). _____________________

A well-earned and much-needed break for the avatar with one of the most thankless jobs in the Metaverse. This forum regular appreciates all you do for this forum and will miss you, especially on Fridays. Enjoy your break and I hope to see you back here soon! For those of you who don't know, Strife does a lot more than just babysit our threads. This forum isn't for general discussion; there are many Resident Sites where this discussion is appropriate - Resident Answers is for Resident-to-Resident help. Excellent, Chris. Threads are locked daily because according to the mods they're not "Resident Answers" material. The sensitivity is overwhelming. But this one is resident answers material? It's no big deal I know but if you call it a certain way then keep it like that for everything and everyone. |

I think the biggest hastle, and I'm guessing here, is that he's got to do it alone. There hasn't really been much LL support here in the forums and most of the other resmods have wandered away. My condolences to Aki.... then again, strife has always had them. the ability to shrug and lock and just keep moving is a form of super power in my book.
so all hail the conquuering hero, as they ride of into the sunset, and welcome the new one.... I expect that hail will be translated as a spattering of parting shot, and quietening of complaints that "strife isn't a linden", and a massive upsweep of "LL is censoring us!"... ... and that's my resident answer _____________________
