rumors going around about me

ive been in MG for alittle over 2 months now and i already have rumors starting about me, the passed 1-2 weeks ive been having griefer attacks on me and some of the places i have been gonig to alot, they all seam to be new avatars and they always go right for me or the places i script at and grief there, latly and just today i heard a few of those rumors it seams that peaple are saying that i steal other peaples stuff and claim it as my own, and it seams to be only with the weapon vendors,

in the teen grid i was a weapons scripter for new rome and very powerfull army there, i did a bit of scripting for half the armys there as a type of behind the seens secret scripter for weapons and becouse of that my name got pruty trashed, im not sure this is the best topic to talk about it but id like to know what i have done to the weapon vendors if anything or it is just some teens that got a hold of a adult accounts and came after me,id realy like to know, id like to not have my name trashed again >.>

Ok, you are 18 now. It is time to start writing like an adult. Punctuation, capitalization, and an attempt at spelling are your friends.

First off, you are over 18 now, aren't you? And you were under 18 when on the teen grid, right? If not, you just handed whoever your enemies are your head on a silver platter.

Assuming you are kosher age-wise, if your stuff is good enough to clearly beat the competition, your name is going to get trashed. Be ready for it. The weapons scripting community includes at least a couple of very decidedly nasty people. Accusations that A is stealing B's or C's stuff are basic, bread and butter trash talk in that field. I am aware of one case that went beyond griefing to RL threats of physical violence, for which I understand criminal charges are being filed.

See, there's money in having a GOOD weapons system, significant enough money to bring out the worst in some people.

As far as scripting - public sandboxes get griefed all the time anyway, but if you think you are being singled out, use an alt which no-one, and I mean no-one, knows is related to you. And be a class act; that will differentiate you from your detractors and will be the best way to build up your reputation.

i dont even script at sandboxes, i have a bunch of friends that gladly let me do my little creations at there place.
and the one thing i dont get about it, ya i know that weapons are a big thing but this system im making is simaler to tcs it is gonig to be a freebie one anyone can get, and yes my spelling and stuff is crap that isnt the point. i am not in sl to make a shitload money i have been gladly being one of the nicest peaple that you would find, i havent charge anything for anything i have scripted for peaple, hell, im mainly in this just for the fun of it i just wont to get all this off my back

Mrc, I think it may be a case that most noob people head towards anywhere that may have a weapon floating about, I swear noobs can sniff out weapons from miles off!

Maybe do as Har suggested and sign in under a different name if you think its YOU as a person that is attracting the negativity. It may be that you are just way to good at what you do and some are jealous But dont let that put you off, instead turn it on its head, do even better and stick two fingers up at them as you do!!

Some days? Aren't you supposed to take them every day? Maybe that's the problem? I mean, if you're taking meds because of being in SL, sounds like a break is in order.

Well if that is the case then I am even sorrier you have had such replies to a genuine question. I really hope it all works out, try the alt thing and see what happens

Do what a lot of other people do.

Start a business under your famous/infamous name and set up shop. Sell the stuff best you can.

Then get an Alt and STAY away from that scene and have some fun when not working in SL.

well what ment was some days you dont feel to good to start with and sumtimes thye make you very edgy and crazy for a few hours till they start taking a better effect

Dekka, my point is, taking them not as prescribed, makes it more likely you won't get the required best effect from using them.

They don't work if you don't take them every day.

Anti-depressants have a lot of difficult to live with side effects. I think that is what he meant.
