all preferences and we will all differ. Some of us have lived with the typing animation for years and it doesnt bother us. Besides there's far more things to get upset about than a simple animation. It's not RL folks!

I kinda like the typing animation.. It's cute. (^_^)

But.. I have a friend that keeps it on, but persistently types /0 before every chat line. (o.o)

It's kinda odd when she starts IMing you... It's like the number is a reflex. (>_<;)

Maybe you should ask her if someone told her she had to do that in order to type in chat? I love the typing animation, and my AO allows me turn that on and off. I've seen things you can use where you pull out a laptop, or a pen and paper, but I still think the old fashion way with our avies air typing is the best. :-D

Yeah like this crazy aversion to sour cream in guacamole.
Look…its just a tablespoon or two. For filler. Like its going to freaking kill the deal or something. But fine Ill try it without the sour cream because I take risks. But when society as we know it comes crumbling down because that’s the way the “Mexicans” do it then don’t look to me for any solace.

I don't use the typing animation, but recognize that it's uncomfortable for some people. So, I was thinking of going to Grendel's. They have typing animations that are eating a chip from a bag or eating a cookie from a bag.

Concerned what it may do to the typist's figure, however. Because I'm sure everytime I ate something, she'd run to the fridge.

Ill just avoid all references to food or this is going to get out of hand.

Now look….the cyber gods meant for us to use the typing animation. I’m sure there was exhaustive research, double blind studies…group trials, alpha’s, beta’s and countless memos on the subject at Linden Lab. It is a lab? Right?

lol, I'd love something Neko specific like that, as long as it didn't involve licking my hand and rubbing it on myself...those types of Neko animations kind of gross me out.

I don't swear that I'd use it all the time though. I barely notice the default typing anim after 2+ years, unless it's not being used, so it really doesn't bother me the way it apparently does some people.

Chat bubbles destroy my immersion and make me think I am anywhere but SL, like There or TSO or something horrid like that.

Typing animation breaks my immersion. To each their own breaking of the immersion. Oh, and I do not use chat bubbles either.
