Reading through the honest and revealing and funny answers to my question - the forum at its best, in a way - it seems wrong for me to just sit there and say nothing about why I asked it in the first place.

Before I came to SL I was in another virtual world, where I was just one big fake from beginning to end: gender, age, orgasms. It was a learning experience, and apparently the pretence was convincing, but I realised I was inevitably going to hurt someone, I couldn't think of a way of explaining without making it even worse, and made excuses and ran away. Hal Harbour now admits men are faking it now. Apart from snappy "Yes, I did! Didn't you feel it?" in REAL, it is much harder for a man to fake than it is for us (Okay, now you will tell me I am sadly mistaken!). But in SL they can groan, "aaarrrrssgh!" and not actually feel or "do" a thing. This must take the pressure off them to perform but we need something like a lag meter just to check on these things.
