My purpose was that if you don't enjoy it, you should tell the person you are having cyber sex with.

If they think you are having a RL orgasm and you aren't, then that is a communication shortfall.

It is analogous to someone faking an orgasm IRL (which many of us have done) If you truly are comfortable with your partner you wouldn't find that necessary.

I do enjoy it. Immensely so. I even get sexual pleasure from it. But I don't masturbate. For me to masturbate, it takes quite a bit of want to.. alot of people just do it when they feel like doing it.. I hold off until I almost HAVE to. Make it feel better usually. And cybersex usually doesn't provide me with enough lust or w/e to get there anyway.

And my partner DOES know that I'm not masturbating in RL. She's fine with it, because she knows that I'm still getting pleasure from it. I've had more fun not orgasming than I ever have orgasming. Truly.

Warning: Probably a TMI post.

It's been awhile since I've had sex in SL, and I never masturbated during it. I'm not into the SL partner thing, but I did have one person on there who I would get intimate with. He was aware of the fact I was not masturbating at that exact moment, I told him whatever happens I just take to bed with me that night and think about then...which was true, most the time I would end up laying in bed that night thinking about it and then "taking care if it".

When having SL sex we would still act out the orgasm as the finale to our little session. He was an excellent conversationalist, intelligent and could type out a sex scenario that would get me typing and carrying on like no one else had. He was fine with the fact I wasn't doing it at the moment and knew I was "acting" out the orgasm at the end, he'd ask the next day "How was it after you signed off? As good as when you were logged in?"...so we had fun with it and thats whats important to me.

I agree with Colette when saying I think it's important the other person know...especially should they ask (and it seems most men do) "are you really touching yourself?".
