We might consider having a small section subdivided off to allow rezzing by all group members. That way the no-land people would have a place to rez vendor boxes to transfer stuff to their inventory.

In fact, I think this will be necessary if you want us to be able to enjoy boating... we need a place to rez our boats. Perhaps a 200m section right on the water?
For you, we will go as high as 216m. :p

No worries, folks. You can assume the folks in charge will make sure you will have exactly what you need on this land and all the permissions neccessary.

Great minds...Can't go online now, but I was just going to ask her to rez that or another box on our new land.

Oh goody, I'll pop one down there later! (Hoping to catch the free for all period, since i'm not a group member ....). Will keep updating with new ones btw, current flavours being considered are cookies and crabs. And if it's okay with you Ray, I'll give you copy of the next box so that when autoreturn hits you can throw it out there. I'm maxed out on groups at the moment i think.

question

So will group members have ban list/eject capabilities, for those moments when an unwanted terrorist visits? Take into consideration that a group member could indeed BE an infiltrating terrorist given the lax criteria for joining this group, so maybe this wouldnt be the best idea. Perhaps groups of certain 'established' individuals who play at different times of the day could be on 'call' so to speak, giving coverage for clean-up/ miscreant disposal detail. For example, I myself play after 1am est till around 4am, so Id volunteer to be part of the late evening clean up crew. Someone in need of a greifer removal could check the group list for people called ' SECURITY' or whatever, and IM them with a request. Folks on the security team would leave their online status indicators lit so group members could see who was available for this task. Just a thought.

WHO will have build capabilities?

if my build(s) is/are approved, i'd like to be able to place some things myself. is that something that should be discussed in group, or private?

If your builds are approved, I'm sure the build-masters would set you up to do the building yourself. :)

actually this is kind of a good idea. Last year I started renting a stall at a place that got heavy traffic and got to know the guy well and we became friends. People seemed to be in the habit of for some reason burying my stall in garbage prims cause it was also a trivia drop in place etc. SO since I knew the guy and got tired of asking for my stall to get dug out and was getting a bit frustrated at landing and finding myself stuck inside some monsrosity as he had a set landing place as well I asked for the ability to clean up garbage prims and eject trouble makers etc. That's all i did. When I went once or twice a day to check my stuff just as a part of a routine i drop in on any rental stalls around in the evening before I go to bed I would clean up the prims and ban people who made the mess and leave the guy an IM for him to decide to leave them banned or not. It worked well. This is abusable though...... and the guy new me and we were friends before this ability was given. He then created a subgroup for long timers who had cleanup, eject ban abilities which helped but we did get one pwoer hungry one still so even then its no foolproof.

Winter: yes we're definitely going to discuss permissions, etc over the next few days.

3Ring: Submit suggestions to the builders (Chris, Incanus, Malachi, and Annabelle) so that they can collect all the ideas. Once we get an idea of all the ideas, things will start to fall into place. ;)

Nope. You're in the loop. We're working on it. I think banlines are a great idea along with a security system that, every minute or so, randomly picks someone in the sim and orbits them, just to make them an example to would-be trouble makers.

The others aren't on board yet, but I'm working on them.

LMAO! that's funny, the way you said it. so, if i'm having a cup of cafe o lait with Oryx, you're just going to randomly orbit me? i might be burned. this really needs rethinking. *cheese*
