Actually, have no fear, because as I mentioned way back up at the top, there will be a future Expo for cool giant mecha-type robots such as this (as opposed to humanoid robots or humanoids in robotic carapace, which fit into the current Expo.)

PS. May I humbly suggest that the venue for the Avatar Expo be mostly free of translucent and shiny objects, for the best display of those of us who lean heavily on invisiprims? I can't be the only one who does.

The Avatar Expo is now in session! It's running in Lime and Plum. I'm still trying to set up the voting for this, but for now, here's how to add your entry to the site:

Each contestant can display up to 3 images/builds of their extraordinary avatars. They can be 3 of the same one, or 3 different AVs by the contestant. Display these 3 images in any way you see fit, as long as they fit these criterion:

1) Images/builds cannot be wider or higher than 10 meters. If a contestant’s AV is “naturally” over 10 meters, than that's acceptable. If it's *much* more than 10 meters, a smaller image may be requested, per Hamlet’s judgment.
2) Images/builds cannot block other contestants' entries.
3) Builds which are prim-intensive and cause lag may be removed in lieu of an image, per Hamlet's request.
4) Images/builds must be PG.
5) Builds must not be over-complicated in a way that may influence voters' choice, per Hamlet's judgment.
6) Images/builds must be easily movable.

Voting will commence sometime next week and run for a week or so after. An optional mud wrestling competition may also be scheduled; check local listings.

One more day to display nominated avatar before voting begins!

I'm planning to put out voting machines tomorrow afternoon, so if you're nominated but haven't put up a display, now's the best time. (Yes, you can put displays up after the voting starts, though of course, those who have them set up already will have a head start.)
