And just for the record, the ratings system is there to judge you and your work. E.g. if I see you with an avatar that looks total ass, I am gonna negrate you for it. That's what the negative option is there for in the system, to rate you, not to not be used.

Griefer Rocks too - I got the idea from Kahmon who used to dress up as a Rock and jump out in front of Newbies. I thought it would be fun to detect when someone is in the area and then make the rock move just a little and then stop. Enough to where you aren't really sure if it's the rock, your monitor or the land that is actually moving. They will keep on rolling a little at a time until you run from the sim screaming.

I agree - it would end the ability to use neg rates as a griefing tool. Ignoring bad behavior seems to work just as well. Actual abuse can always be reported and awarding people for good things they have done perpetuate more good things.

Somehow, after dealing with Nora a few times, I find it much easier to believe that they were flyby negs. I have no reason not to believe the thread starter, but from the way Nora has conducted herself in the past, I would not be suprised if indeed they just didn't like how she looked or something...
