We're over 50 registered within the first week. I'll continue to post updates as we get close to the cap.

Fizik, you may hold the record for longest distance travelled! Anyone else thinking about hopping the pond?

re: pic size
08-31-2005 11:25
as far as how big the pic should be.. if it's a screenshot from within SL, just the default snapshot size is fine.. although, it might be prudent to switch the format from BMP to JPG or any file type that won't be as huge.

i'll do all the cropping, sizing and such.

if it's a RL pic, just keep these dimensions in mind as "no smaller than"..

W 550 pixels X H 740 pixels

basically, i can work with just about anything that's sent to me. if i need a different size, i can always send an email back to whomever i need a new pic from.

let me know if i need to further clarify anything about this.

-

Zarah, maybe we'll see you next year.. in the meantime you can enjoy you're awesome new home! :D

Fizik, wow! welcome aboard! (does anyone know if there's a special prize for who comes from the furthest away? maybe a "no-prize"? anyone remember those? heheh..)

Mr. P's will be holding a raffle for a FREE registration to the the 1st Annual Users Conference being held in New York City!!

For every ActionPack sold, the person who purchased it will have thier name entered into a drawing for a chance to get a free registration to this historic event. It does not matter what ActionPack you purchase, any one of them get your name into the drawing. You may have your name entered as many times as you wish.

To learn more about the convention visit

Second Life Comminity Convention '05

Click here to see all Mr. P's products

Prize includes access to both the party on Saturday night and the conference on Sunday night. The dates are October 8th and 9th, 2005. Travel and accomodations are not included.

Dead line to be entered 9/16/2005 drawing will be held at an event to be announced later on 9/19/2005

I am sorry I had to link this to a sale of one of my products. I doubt I will even make the money totally back but I need to recoup as much as possible. I wanted to do something for the community and this is the best I could come up with with in my budget.

I look forward to seeing everyone there!!!

bumping is against forum rules.

anyway

i suggest we move the convention. it has come to my attention that neither i, ingrid, nor ingrid's mom can attend on the specified dates. for great justice we request the conference be moved to the following weekend.

Despite not participating much in SL lately I've decided I am definately going to the convention. Maybe this will get my arse back in gear in world! Does anyone have any suggestions for a cheap nights stay? I'm only an hour and half away from Manhatten so it's up in the air if I will pay for a night. I'm in the Philly area if anyone else from the area wants to head up together. :)

My email is msersen@gmail.com

Cheap? In NYC? Surely you jest! But there are a lot of hotels near Newark airport (15 miles away) in the $70-$100 range.
