The rumors I've heard thus far are fantastic... inventory overhaul among other things... I have a hunch quite a few jaws will drop when 1.6 preview is released!

Naah, there's no inbuilt webbrowser with 1.6, but we can open a users webbrowser (under certain conditions - ie, it must be in a touch event, etc.)
(There is however a HUGE new feature in 1.6 which is rather awesome. )-Adam _____________________

SL will not be a metaverse until it allows us to self-host our own pocket 3D spaces.
If they're about to allow us to self-host from home, or to pay-to-host from other hosting services, then things are about to change in a big way. The WWW is not controlled by any one entity. You can set up a webpage for whatever sleazy or disgusting things your heart desires, subject only to the laws of the country it's being hosted from. |

ok change what i said to "i don't think the web with make sl any better". all it means is now i can close people's shop websites when they pop up instead of their note cards. oh and i can use up a plot's prim allowance when browser prims full of porn endlessly pop up after i click an innocent looking link.
