My other question to u Cat, did you talk to Anshe about said sign before neg rating it?

Why does it matter to you who is next...or if there is a next...I thought you were concerned with resolving the problem between you and Anshe? If all that matters to you is the game play then resolve the situation...you have the tools to do so....show some goodwill or a step in that direction and I bet it will be returned in kind.

That was not the comparison I made at all, that is your spin on what I said, which is insulting. My comparison is that someone can comment on having principles and not wavering, and be principled about the wrong thing. You asked how standing up for principles is not viewed as a good thing, or not responding to pressure. I made the comparison to Bush's justification for not changing his strategy at all. I was not comparing Anshe to Iraq, that is just silly.

Not speaking about this situation specifically, there is value to looking just beyond yourself and trying to prevent a wrong from happening to someone else in the future.

I do hope Anshe and Catherine can work out this situation amicably, it serves no one to have this kind of ongoing animosity.

If you really care about how things affect SL as a whole then why aren't you trying to resolve this issue? Do you think you're not affecting SL by putting up the sign that you did?
Do you think it doesn't affect SL when 2 neighbors drag their diry laundry to the forums?

You two could end this right now and both be the better for it. Let me ask you this. If Anshe were to unban you from her land...would you make a similar gesture and take away the neg ratings for the sign? Its give and take and it all affects the community.

I am sorry Jonny and I would like to thoroughly apologize to everybody who got wrong impression. As I said in my initial response to this issue I do not believe that forums is appropriate place to solve personal conflicts.

I appreciate your effort and offer of mediation to resolve this. I am always available for honest and fair effort to resolve conflict. I believe in peace and don't want unhappy people. I have not started any of the conflicts that have been discuss in this thread, but I am always willing to end conflicts if it is at fair and acceptable term for everyone involved.

Please, lets drop this Catherine/Pandastrong topic. If you like to discuss this further please IM me in world.

The issue with Eddie Vogel however is of public concern, because many people believed the false rumors he spread and, possibly, is still spreading. So people need to know what is happening. As community we have yet to find some method to handle such situation, since Linden Lab don't seem to want involve in matters of label and false rumor spreading.

Once again sorry that I was not able to prevent this drama thread.

There has been a good deal of discussion about the process of buying and selling land in Second Life, and it seems Anshe has become a symbol for many of what's wrong with the system.

It's fine, and encouraged, to discuss how we can improve the land purchasing process. This thread, however, is arguably about the process, and is deteriorating into attacks not only against Anshe, but against each other so I'm going to lock it.
