Is there a concerted effort by club owners against other clubs?

Personally, this happens purely by association as well, not necessarily an entire group. But it seems to be natural to jump to conclusions, isn't it?

Actually Kiamat, this wasnt an attack on clubs. My house is in the same sim as your club and I got the "Lain is God" spam/smoke/script thingy put on my house near where I was sitting (I was the only one around, no one near me). I think it was the same night your club got hit. BTW, I did have fun at your club before the attack.

Club Elite was excluded as well. Although I personally have no gripes with other club owners, I have been the subject of griefing (or Club Elite has), including one bombing incident which took the sim down. Another approached me and told me that he was hired to greif the club and was going to quit his job.

I am a relative newcomer to club ownership so do not know many other club owners, but the clubs popularity has risen steadily, most likely due to the fact that we are just here to provide fun for the customers. That being said, there appear to be many who hold grudges against the previous ownership or staff. Many do not even know it has changed ownership.

I have compiled a list of trouble-makers and would gladly share it with other club owners. And indeed if this S.L.A.M. group is legitimate, I would like to hear more about it. If it is about power struggles, never mind.

It is bs. I know exactly what you are talking about, and did when I made that post. As I said I have requested the name of the person doing this so they can be dealt with. And if necessary removed from The Edge. I was finally provided with a first name only today. Kaos, that is it. I ran a search for all members with the name Kaos, only one member in the edge with that name. Kaos Cohen. They claim this has been happening every day. Guess what? Kaos Cohen's last login date was 1/19/2005, 2 weeks ago. I was here when he logged in. You know what he did while he was online? Stood in the Edge and hosted an event. Afterwards logged out. The claims from paradise stated that this took place a few days ago. And every day since. Not possible.

Don't preach about things in which you do not know the first thing about. The only members of paradise who were banned were officers, because people were coming into the clubs offering money to guests and staff to leave and go to paradise. We have banned none of the members other than officers, nor do we intend to. The rumors about why the trackers were placed are as fake as the rumors about the trackers existing in the first place.

S.L.A.M. is not about power struggle. It was formed to stop griefers. That is it. We all believe that there is enough room in SL for everyone. But coming to other clubs to steal customers and staff is not kosher. And even after being asked to stop, it continued. Thus the reason we took action and banned the officers.

Ok then let me break this incident down for you since you seem to know nothing at all about it and have proven that to me time and again. People from Paradise came into many of the other clubs in SL offering money and asking people to go to Paradise Island. Whether this was under the direction of staff or of their own accord it is yet to be determined. However we decided the best course of action (after asking them to stop and it continued) was to ban the officers of paradise island. After which they came out claiming that The Edge was placing trackers on their island to ban members that visited Paradise.

Upon hearing this accusation I requested the name of the person who owned the devices. I waited 3 days to hear a name before I was given a single name. "Kaos". If you weren't so dense and read my full post I said that "Today I was finally given a name." I did not say you mentioned it, I did not say you mentioned the Edge.

You claim to know so much about this incident. Please tell me who owns Paradise Island?

Hah as I thought. Hellsing does NOT own paradise. As I said you know NOTHING of it. The land is in Hellsings name but he is holding it for Ballermomo because ballermomo is a repeat offender who has been banned many times. The island is currently RUN by Alyeska, momo's gf.

You say you're speaking of another incident. I'm not sure how that is possible seeing as how the only trackers I've heard about, and this is directly from the owners of Paradise, were placed there under The Edge name to put a ban out on people who visited Paradise Island. If this is not the same incident, then why mention trackers and paradise?

You speak of clubs forming together to work against other clubs. These rumors were started because SLAM is clubs formed together to work TOGETHER. But because of the ban on paradise officers, it was twisted and rumored that we did it to put paradise out of business.

Momo admitted to his multiple offenses, i have multiple logs on yahoo as proof of that much as well as the conversation last night. I also have a log of him stating that he, not hellsing, is the owner of paradise. As well as from alyeska, and braveman. So you can say what you want, but i've heard it from the horses mouth. You do not know waht you are talking about and i do not know what they even have to do with this to begin with.. it seems like what your trying to do is point fingers by trying to defend yourself from someone thats not pointing fingers. You will learn one thing about me very quickly. I get bored playing with people like you, people that think they know everything and really know nothing. You do not know half the story or even a fraction of it. You try to make it appear that i am saying the edge or slam did this or that when in fact the entire time i have been saying the exact opposite, that i dont know who did these things and who is it thats doing it!? I never implied anything of the sort. I simply clarified the details of what happened. As for speaking in skype, I don't see the point as I do not have a mic. And before you say anything, I typed when I "spoke" with aly and momo lol ^_^ Yahoo, or in game IM works for me.

Life is too short to spend it fighting. That said, I have removed my previous posts. I want to clear up one thing before I finish up here. My statements were all my own and not on behalf of any one or any group.

I REALLY feel like doing this... building a team of SLs best; texture, scripts, managers,dancers,animators, cloths makers etc. (I have a list of about 20ish names, if we would all get together, we would raise the standard sooo high that it would cause a shock wave in the SL community!). After opening we would have to stick to it and maintain with CONTENT, not BS! We would get top stop in dwell in a matter of DAYS.

Seriously, I think this is a great idea. Just as proof of concept if nothing else. But mainly, cause I haven't gotten to see anything like that cause I'm so new here.

I've really enjoyed reading this thread and can appreciate the frustrations some of you victims feel. I engaged in a bit of thuggery in TSO and was threatened more than once when I owned clubs there. My policy is that if you set my club on fire I nuke your world. Period. Clubs, houses, pets. Everything goes. Trust me, follow that policy and you'll run into the occasional young punk but for the most part these groups will leave you alone. The only thing someone with a big stick fears is a bigger stick and someone willing to use it. This getting together in groups to thwart or promote terrorism is nonsense. Too much drama. Get it done! Someone f's with you, f'back harder.

However, this back-and-forth over conspiracy and meetings and who said what really is nonsensical. Some guy gets a picture of a group of club owners meeting and suddenly it's 1957 and the heads of the five families are meeting at an upstate NY farm. Who really cares? How many conspiracies take place via Yahoo or MSN that are then introduced into game? This type of activity goes on all the time. Me thinks the original poster here wanted to stir the pot and look like he busted some big syndicate by touting this picture.
