His REAL father, who was apparently a white man, from the pictures I've seen of Jesus.

God the Son prayed to God the Father, who was apparently Marlon Brando or someone who both looked and mumbled like him.

For some reason, the term "Elder Gods" cracks me up. I'm still hoping a Jesus and Cthulhu road trip movie gets made.

Parade of Hypocrites
10-06-2005 01:46
Wow. Left-wing hypocrisy rears it's ugly head once again. You'd think it wouldn't surprise me anymore. Here we have an entire thread making a complete mockery of Christians and our beliefs and I'm the only one in here calling the foul.
I wonder how long this thread would have lasted if the topic were Islam. Why is it that the so-called defenders of diversity feel that it's ok to slam Christianity every chance they get? -Kiamat Dusk _____________________

Will it be like Thelma and Louise? Yeah, but with less suicide and more salvation. And a vortex or two. _____________________

I'll gladly make a mockery of anyone's religion. In fact, post your faith and I'll make fun of you right here if you like! And maybe people make a mockery of Christians because, just like you did, they conveniently ignore any questions directed at them about the nonsensical points they blindly take as 'truth' and pour scorn on the evol unbelievers who dare to question anything. |

John 16:25-28 25"Though I have been speaking figuratively, a time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you plainly about my Father. 26In that day you will ask in my name. I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf. 27No, the Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God. 28I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father." John 17:1-5 Jesus Prays for Himself 1After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. 2For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. 4I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. 5And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. |

If you would like I could go on for pages about what's wrong with Judaism. Since I was brought up in a religious jewish family, I'm fairly familiar wit some things I find hypocritical. Either that or it has to do with the vast majority of the world's ills being perpetrated by so-called Christians. _____________________

Here we have an entire thread making a complete mockery of Christians and our beliefs and I'm the only one in here calling the foul. It was a serious question. The fact that you refuse to give an answer makes it even more of a mystery. I thought the father, the son and the holy spirit were all one trinity. They existing as separate entities and communicate to each other through prayer? _____________________

They existing as separate entities and communicate to each other through prayer? shhh! That's called Dogma. You have to take it "as is": God is one. And they are 3. but they are all the same. but 3. But the same... Being serius, many centuries ago, a lot of people were called heretic and killed for giving different meanings to the word "trinity"... What we have today is the result of centuries of evolution (catholic priests can't be married since 13th century, because at that time high priests twisted rules to give wealth and power to their heirs, while protestant christians never had that issue, and many other differences came out during the centuries). The true question is: If Jesus was here, in body and soul again, which kind of christian would he be? Would he be a christian even? After all, he didn't like the religious establishment he found when he came here the first time... and he changed many things... |
