Right... I want this.

[edit] Ah I just saw I need Battlecruisers 1 as well... still that won't take long to learn.

And oooh it's listed as only 24 mil base price. Wonder where I got 32 from...

Nice, I fly this.

Eh. Eve is fun. Though I'll stick to Traveller. Pens, paper dice, beer, human contact, and my own plotline.

Wow that is so much more what I want... I love turrets, launchers just annoy me. Problem is i'd have to get Gallente Frigate IV and Gallente Cruiser III...

Course in the time it will take to get the money I might be able to.

Thanks again, Sio, for all the tips you gave me this morning in the F.I.C channel about ships and their roles. I will no longer mine in my hauler and I hope to not see my pod again for quite some time!

Great game. I haven't been playing it long but am loving the life of a free trader ... poring over the market data and star charts to come up with new trade routes where I can fill my cargo hold cheaply with goods in one system and sell them one or two jumps away for a big profit, occasionally having to outfly pirates, then having to abandon my best trade routes as the market fluctuates and the profit disappears. Sometimes playing for a while and making next to nothing as the golden trade route eludes me, sometimes like this afternoon hitting it big (well, big for me) and making a million in under an hour. Fun fun.

I'll look for channel F.I.C. next time I'm on.

Finished the tutorial, was pretty good and taught me the basics. Did some agent missions, completed all that one would give me.

Impressions: Lots of flying, lots of jumping, kinda boring, hope it gets better... still looks pretty much like a loner game to me.

Oh... noob question... the agent told me to go see another one for more missions. I didn't write down the name and logged off, now I have no idea how to figure out which one he was or where to go for more missions. Help would be appreciated.

Check your people and places and click the agent tab. Should be in there.

This is Estuara - my character - Gallente - ya can tell by the gleam of brilliance in her eyes! OR it could be that her communications module on her head is too tight!

Another option* , Billy, is to start a conversation with your original agent (even remotely). He or She will tell you who you need to find and where you need to find them.

Cheers

Taco

* I explained this clearly last night on the FIC channel to somebody else who had the same problem, while you and I were bickering. Read better, Herr Tunnel Mind!

I tried talking to the agent again last night... she simply said she didn't have any missions for me and did not restate who I should go to.

Eve online, is something I was looking for, I tried it about a year ago or so, but back then, it seemed that it was quite buggy, and the tutorial was incomplete. Not being much help at all for new users to start out on.

Though, re-joining it recently, and going through the tutorials again, made it a more pleasureable and learning experience to get down to it and off you go. Eve Online, is a pretty environment that's for sure. As one might expect from any online space mmorpg.
