When I spoke of "Americans", I referred to people from the United States of America. This is a perfectly valid use of the word:

So my comparison doesn't come as "yah boo, us Canadians are less violent than you Americans". It comes as a comparison between two similar nations, with similar rates of gun ownership, but vastly different murder rates. So I ask...why is this?

wtf was his problem? all I did was forgot to put my guns away then I did so and he got pissed because they were still kind of revealed!
are guns really that hated? its not like i'm gonna go on a killing spree throughout the entire club! and besides, nobody can die on the sim!

I have one too, but (at least in Texas) you have to keep it *concealed* and you can't take it into a place that gets 51% or more of its income from alcohol (ie: most clubs IRL). If it's visible in a holster it's not concealed. If it's concealed (invisible or in your inventory), it shouldn't be an issue. |

Do you wear your guns in RL clubs? Do you see naked adults acting like babies in Rl clubs ? Is it nessacary to list the millions of other questionable stuff in SL that doesnt happen in RL and try to use that as a rant and whine to defend griefing the gun wearer? So take your RL to SL arugement and shove it,, it lacks substance and logic. The debate seems to steam around ,(in SL), why cant people with weapons even walk around without using them without being hated...... afterall there are tons of other stuff one could argue with the same line of logic the anti-gun crusaders try to use, that creates a catch-22....its ok to simulate childsex, walk around with your sex pieces hanging out and act like a complete dork, camp and cause undo lag ETC ..........but TP into a place with a weapon out and get harassed with threats of being banned...for nothing more then simplying wearing a weapon...............all while the naysayers cry about "you cant do it in RL so you cant in SL,, while ignoring all of the other sick stuff happening in the game daily, everywhere... So people don't like my shinny colt 45's.....Get over it, the difference between the truly free gun owner and the naysayer is,,, -you wont hear us complain about your tinkerbell outfits and overall lack of understanding , that how most people act in SL...would get them shot in the RL. 110% ironic and controdicting things happen daily in SL The fact of the matter is,,, walking into a club (In SL) wearing a weapon and not using it,, causes no harm,, how others think or perceive things is not to be taken as the all mighty word and truth of "what could happen"........... simply wearing something causes no harm,,,, but complaining and ranting to the wearer is in fact grieving and needs to be addressed |
