For some people NOT having one would be a sign of their personality. I only picked my last name because the program didn't offer the option to skip it.

I dislike choosing from such a limited list, too.

I appear to be the only surviving member of the Murphy clan. hadnt really thought about it. maybe the others just werent tough enough to handle the heat. then again, maybe they were all brighter than me and left for rational reasons.
well, i won the forums anyway.

Anybody have any insights on the Chung last name? :-) There are at least a couple of Chungs that are very famous. Hehe

There aren't a whole lot of Talamascas around, though there are enough.
And more coming every day, now that freebie accounts have produced such an influx of people.

I wonder how many there will be in a year?

I have noticed that my kin tend to be helpful, gregarious, playful, inventive AND creative BOTH (An unusual trait)...
And most of us are shapeshifters...meaning that we change Avatars at the drop of a hat.

Anyone else notice that?

Not sure that "Ritter" means anything on it's own. But collectively "Kris Ritter" means "that bitch".

I think my way's more effective... Well, at least the initials are the same... sorta.

Anyway, someone older than me will have to do Taylor, because I've never seen another online since I started playing. If they were anything like me though, probably words like "manic depressive", "psycho", "sarcastic" and "miserable" will be used.

And by the way, ignore, Kris. All the Ritter's I've met have been incredibly cute, creative, intelligent and oddly bitchy in the forums... but then, I only ever met one.

I picked Grumby because it was closet to my last name from TSO (Bramble) but have since fretted about it because I think people tend to see it as grumpy, which I am decidedly not. It's rare that I run into another Grumby though - maybe they are cranky types.

I just learned, thanks to the magic of google, that Grumby is the last name of the Skipper from Gilligan's Island. I'll have to ponder on how that fits!

'Ritter' translates to 'knight' or 'chevalier' in german, so make it "that noble bitch".
...
'Malison Edge' evidently translates to "that snarky bitch"

Good heavens, there are 100 Psaltery people. Hmm, we seem to like being here and perhaps we all like ancient musical instruments, or we're fallen angels or something.

I've only flown over one or two other Surfaces and I still haven't met the people who took my first and second choices of name - Matt and Shiny Surface. Incidentally, one of my old IRC nicks was CuSO4, which is pretty close ;)

So at the moment I'd have to say
Surface = hardly ever around. Penchant for roaming and general oddity.
