I feel like we should all get together someplace and rez our Starax sculptures or something... a temporary sculpture garden in his memory. I'll loan my giant cobra....

His plot is linden land now, no script no build, but you can rez em on the surrounding plot and move it over there.

With the magical power of Unlimi-Alt (pat. pend.), I still hold a sliver of hope.

Maybe he'll go underground, bobbing and weaving, stampedeing buffaloes here, fire-breathing hell demons there...no sandbox will be safe.

*shrug* I just want my wand :( Total emotional rollercoaster tonight lol.

Nooooo.... not only is he gone from Search People, but the classified for his store just says 'closed,' and the land it was on is empty and now belongs to Gov. Linden. When did this happen? He was a brilliant artist.... :( :(

He was a brilliant artist and the way SL has been going lately with the obsession with sex, greed and violence I wouldn't be surprised he just threw up hands in disgust and off to RL studio to work in peace

Well that would be one of SL's biggest losses:/

I know! I loved his posts! :'-(

Edit: Was his store a 512? If so, I'll keep an eye out and make a memorial to him when it's for sale. :D

Actually, even if they perma-ban someone, the stuff they had in-world usually remains, unless the owner of the land removes it, or there are complaints to the Lindens about it. A store left behind still sells goods, but the banned person won't get the funds. (A suspended person gets the funds when the suspension is lifted. I asked Torley about this a while back, about banned merchants in general).

If there was a classified ad saying the store was closed, my guess is he packed up on his own and left.

Never met him myself, just heard his name in the Forums...

But then it'll only last until the lot sells.

Not if you report it in the SLLM forum, which I did. I'll keep an eye out for it. ;)

I am guessing this might be related to how they changed temp on rez, which kind of borked the wand in some ways.

I wondered about that too.. must have been very very disheartening to make something so awesome and have it borked:/

I'm guessing that it had something to do with this.

But it's a pure stab in the dark. I don't know the original thread that spawned this, but I did see the bellydancer.

It was more like a man squasher. :p

By the looks of it, it seems like he left though, not got banned. His store is gone, his SLB account is gone, his classified listing says closed.
