First, get an alt. Leave it unused. When invited as an officer into the group, invite your alt. If you get kicked and want to do a power grab, log in as the alt, accept the invite, invite your main account and start kicking people out?

This shouldn't last forever though. Seems the matter of making sure there's no untrusted officers, and getting the Lindens to cancel all pending officer invites.

I'm not quite sure exactly to what you are referring, but I haven't seen anything that would count as a tragedy here.
Messed up? yes. A pain in the ass? Yep. A loss of money for some people? Sure.

A tragedy? Come on... let's not blow this out of proportion.

Neither here nor on the internet. I have to admit that the love of drama on this forum does grate a bit though, a reason for my low post count. Quite a few jump on every bandwagon with premade judgements. How about we let the Lindens deal with it?

Last night I left all of Anshe's groups because some people were actually personally attacking me and RL friends. I actually wanted to help rebuild the forest into something usable, and at least try and implement something in the transition.

But no, people decide to call me a traitorous c**t, threatning me, griefing me until I have no choice but to leave.

I needed that money to pay for my SL account as I didnt have a job, and now I dont have a job once more so in a month I may not be able to pay SL.

Is that what you wanted? Dragging innocent people in with verbal abuse and getting all your little friends to register new accounts and cause trouble? Forced me out of a SL job, upsetting me severely when I was trying to actually do a bit of good and attempt in some way to clear up after this mess.

Oh tee hee, what a jolly good laugh you must have had, you spiteful little discpicable bags of hate. You give furries a bad name by your little drama queen hate campaigns, especially against one of your own which has upset me a great deal to the point of nearly having me in tears. No game, software whatever should open up to that sort of abuse.

Samia, if that happens again, I'd suggest sending an abuse report. You can check the 'include chatlog' box, but it does not work. Be sure to copy and paste the text in the AR (abuse report) window. Also, if people want to judge all the furries by the actions of a few, then let them. If they are that closed minded, I don't think there is any reason to argue about it. I still love you Samia!

I don't care how many poeple in this thread say "I saw so-and-so do this", or "XYZ" did that and called me bad names.

There is no proof, unless the Lindens release the server logs, and explain which alts are who. Only then might it be possible to see whom has done what.

I hope one of the Lindens is reading this, and will comment.

Because it was wisely originated at 6pm on a US holiday so that it could safely run all night and the next morning for maximum viewing and posting time. It does seem odd that it hasn't been locked at this point in time though. Surely the mods have been in the office for a few hours now.

Maybe Jeska didn't feel like ruining her week quite yet.

Did any of you pay her for staying on the sim, since she does fully own it, if you didnt pay her any money per month, then she has every right to re start her sim and or group.

Or LL figures Anshe is big enough and rich enough to stand up for herself?

After all she did imply publicly that LL couldn't 'control' her recently, mabye LL figured in that in that case they can't protect her any more either?

Samia, I'm sorry to hear you were targetted in such a vicious way. FWIW, I was subjected to 'campaigns' which left me extremely wary of some of the larger fur communities in SL. It's no fun when you've been shot by both sides. I know, I've been there too. Whatever path you take is your choice. Maybe you can make something of the remains of The Forest and the surrounding sims. However, I would strongly advise you (based on my past experiences) to keep logs of all your dealings both with the dreamland consortium and anyone else you deal with both in an official and semi-official capacity.

Too late, I quit having anything to do with it due to horrible, little childish people.

This entire week i have had a major lack of sleep due to the termoil within the forest. For 6 days straight I camped using anti idlers in the forest to make sure i get all the juicy information. Now the 7th day i rest? XD Not yet... I'm still trying to sort things out. Reading all the saved chat logs, notecards, forum posts, group sessions, and such.

Last night for the first time in a week i sleep a long restful night. My reason? I was always worried cuz anshe was planning to remove a portion of the sim from the community i worked so hard to help maintain. Now that it's been destroyed, this poses no further threat to our community. We have moved out and went our own way.

Whoever gutted the sim probably did us a favor IMO. :/ Even thought the act was unsound and devious.
