I really don't think it matters whether the members are serious about doing this in real life.

I think from a legal standpoint, LL probably can't have people forming groups even claiming to advocate for illegal acts in real life.

For example, you don't yell fire in a crowded theater, announce you have a bomb at an airport, or organize a group ostensibly devoted to making snuff films in real life.

Beastiality, unlike murder, may be just a misdemeanor in California, but I think the same principle probably applies.

First of all, let's put this baby to bed. You all are bringing reality into a game. SL isn't part of reality and isn't governed by the same laws as your state or country. Second of all, you all are over thinking this. If you want to ban beastiality, then you want to ban furries because let's face it, if you have a human avatar who has sex with a furry, technicallly that's beastiality. Third of all, if Xcite sells a canine and feline penis and you have sex with a someone wearing one of those, that's technically beastiality.
