But I dropped a mod/copy version on your inventory, maybe you can get a vehicular type to script it for you. _____________________

These are so nice... ahh... Sci-fi movie replicas. Myra Loveless should post here, she devoted a lot of her earlier days on SL to making an accurate Stargate, and last I saw her, Discs of Tron was the name of the game. She's absolutely dogged about the precision.
Jillian, I haven't seen your Battlestar Galactica ship in the flesh (I don't think) but it brings back fond memories. I would also like to encourage y'all to visit the Sci-Fi Museum in Indigo, if you haven't yet. Nice attractions inside, and the green Klingon Bird-of-Preys looming overhead just crack me up. _____________________

Discs of Tron

The Tron tankprogram and lightcycle in these screenshots were created by Cedric Zander... The Unfortunately, the tank has far too many prims to be used as a vehicle.
The Tron Grid Bug (remember the grid bugs? they were the only handdrawn effect in the whole movie... they were too complicated to render in 3D at the time so they had some of Disney's artists draw them byhand) is by my real-life roommate, kimmie Loveless. The final screenshot is of an avatar i made to be a recreation of the Tron 2.0 civilian female... And yes that's a disc she's holding and yes that's a custom animation... And yes the disc throws complete with animations... The civilian female avatars are availible with discs. The discs are used in the Discs of Tron Arena which is a game that i've made in SL. It's a recreation of of the Discs of Tron game from the movie and Tron 2.0 game. It's also easily one of the most scripted areas in all of SL, the game actually works with most of the features from the discs game in Tron 2.0. Granted, the gameplay isn't quite the same, it's not meant to be, but it is extremely fun! The arena is in Moen at 56, 193 and is free to play (for beta testing) until Friday. _____________________
If the designers of X-Windows built cars, there would be no fewer than five steering wheels hidden about the cockpit, none of which followed the same prinicples -- but you'd be able to shift gears with your car stereo. Useful feature, that.

Some more stuff i've made...
The first is sort of a replica of (not really, more of a gun that's inspired by) the LOL from Tron 2.0. I call this rifle the ROFL. It doesn't actually do anything physical, it gives a massive 1024x1024, full permission texture of the Have A Nice Day smiley face... Notice the glowy line effect... You wouldn't believe how that was done! The second is my current avatar... To make it i dook a grey Luskwood fox, tinted it a certain shade of blue and then recreated the skin for Mercury from Tron 2.0... The third is my Hexadecimal from ReBoot avatar. I brought biscuits! _____________________

Very cool stuff, Myra! Discs of TRON in the stand-up cabinet was my favorite TRON game. I bought TRON 2.0 but haven't installed it. I'd love to see a whole sim game grid. I've been thinking about Dillinger's office... I can't picture the grid bugs without hearing their whimsical little musical intro in my head

Here's a Recognizer that was built by my friend Silvadril Kuroda like... ages ago. I think he built this on his first week in SL, and it took him maybe two hours or so. That's so unfair.
