what is needed now is for someone to create skins that have inner lighting built in.. since the face lights dont work with the Lindens new upgraded.. i hate the 1.19.1(4) everything glare.. but im using the 1.19.0.5 to get away from it. but the avi is really dark

Skins are textures...they can't have inner lighting.

You can change your eyebrow shape via Appearance.

Change your hair (bald cap) in the appearance editor. That will control how the eyebrows look.

I've been on a quest for skins with very little eye make-up and cherry lipstick. Not all of these fit the bill, although all are quite nice skins.

More files (is it possible to create a hyperlink? I wouldn't mind using my webspace to store them )

As can be seen, I created these under similar conditions, and found that I liked some skins a lot better than when I originally viewed them in the store.

Read a tip from another thread, /327/3f/256388/1.html about Issigonis, which is designed for Asian avatars, but has a Caucasian version, which works great on my Eurasian avatar (go figure )

Her skins also made me realize why I've sought low eye make-up skins - the main purpose of eyeliner in real life is to give the appearance of fuller eyelashes. The Issigonis skins illustrate this (you get both eyelash versions and 2 lipsticks for 1200 L, which isn't bad!)

The neckline shadows are a bit harsh in her store, but appear better in other low locations (which is why I tried to pick the same location and lighting for all of these pics). The bigger eyelash version is a bit much for me, so I'll probably use the low eyelash version, then adjust them thru the appearance menu.

Now I just have to decide which package I want to buy! There are versions with more eyeshadow and different skin tones, I'm just focussed on low eye make-up.

The first picture is the skin as Eloh Eliot provided it for free at Suffugium Flea Market (please pay her if you can afford it!). The second picture is made from her PSD files (Photoshop format, but imported fine into Paint Shop Pro) by simply turning off/on layers (and from which you learn were made using Chip Midnight's templates) and then saving it and uploading following Natalia Zelmanov's instructions.

Excellent skin, perfectly customizable, for just the cost of uploading, and no more skill required than simply being able to turn layers on and off. Although of course, you could do much more! Kudos to all for making it so simple!

After you hit reply, scroll down to a section called "Additional Options". The middle of that section is called "Attach Files". Select "Manage Attachments", then select the "Browse" button to upload the picture.

I have some skins Im in the process of perfecting and collating for sale
theres a lot of make ups in each set and I try to make them realistic tone wise. I still have to add different skin tones as most are in light or medium and I also have male skins.

My skin is CS (Celestial Studios) Vogue skin - (coral, light) and I've had it a long time - I never change it and intend never to do so.

I didn't mean this a snub to the skills of any other skin makers - some of the ones on here are brilliant, only that I'm at one with myself now and see no need to change!!!

That bald cap should cover the whole face so makeups don't have to be baked into the skin

Well, I'm a die hard Celestial Studios devotee, and I've never been a Gala fan, but their latest release has definitely altered my opinion.



I've adjusted the brows a bit since I took these pics last night - Ann looks a trifle surprised in them, I know - but the makeups are Carbon, Cat, and Sienna. I looove the lips!

Oooh Those are super cute Ann! I was in there tonite and I luve the detail in those skins, but I'm definitely going to have to play around with my shape for them to look right. For some reason, they made me look angry

Nose and lips look really good with those skins, very nice!

I don't know if you used it, but the bald cap/brow shape they included made Ann look cranky too.
