Skins: Female

Here are my three main skins - I've not collected that many so far, and for now I am always in one of these three.

First are my two blue skins, Sin Skins Etheria - Crinaeae blue/aqua; and Ange's Fantasy Skin blue tone - red lipstick. The former is a gorgeous rich blue that fades to aqua at the hands and feet, and also has greenish highlighting elsewhere on the body. Claire mentioned Sin's Etheria line of skins above - I think they are all gorgeous. The Ange's skin is uniformly blue; I think the face is a little less soft than the Sin face but sometimes I don't want green hands and feet.

Then, for when I need or want to look a little more human and a little less blue, I have a brown skin that is also from Sin Skins, the Navy Gold Dusk skin in the third picture.

I tried on a lot of demos but I particularly like the way Sin Skins look on my shape; very soft face without a lot of makeup. I think if nothing else these three pictures show how much skin affects the look of the face.

Where are all the male skins....someone should create some cheap male skins....guys want different looks too

I think it's hard to find skins witch are both. I just can't decide to buy MM skins or Dutch Touch............it's 2 very different styles of skin.

Dutch Touch has awesome body shades, but I think the makeup is a bit too much. MM skins have sweet, classy faces, but the body is a bit "flat" looking. I can buy a "beach skin" that shows up my body at it's best, but then my face changes so much. *sighs*

Any suggestions to sexy bodies with sweet faces?

Tete a Pied (TaP) has male skins to 500 L. That's good quality and not a terrible hight price. Perhaps you should start a thread for male skins? This is the Female skins thread, you know

I'm just asking again...posting 2 pics here. Shows not full body, but you can see how much more defined the collarbone is in the Dutch touch skin. Same goes for all the body, the back and tummy is very nice detailed on Dutch touch skins. So i'm looking for a "sweet and innocent" face with a sexy well detailed body. Thanks for your help

Hi-Rop skins have faces that might be called innocent, maybe I would say "fresh"? But shape affects so much! They are detailed but the body shading is maybe a little softer than the Dutch Touch example.

Hi, Marianne. I really liked the second picture, I think it's the Dutch Touch. The makeup looked nice, in my opinion, and if the body detail is what you want it should be good. You should also check out RaC. They have very sweet faces, some even have a real "innocent" look to them, and in my opinion the body detail is pretty good.

TY...i'm happy with the Dutch Touch makeup...but the one I wear in the picture is the ONLY makeup I like in Dutch Touch....I have 5 sets of demos!

I'm looking for a skin designer that has 2-3 makeups I like and can change between, keeping the face loking like "Marianne", only with different makeup. And have the same body. Often the details on the back really show the difference, some skins has almost no shading of the backbone and shoulderblades.

I really wonder why I haven't heard of RaC skins before? Well take a look yourself....I think the body comes out really good.
There was so many makeups to choose from, but I think I must pick one in this skin tone. Perhaps without smoky eyes. But it must be possible to buy single skins? A pack of 4000 L was a bit much.

(EDIT: please don't tell me that it's 4000 L for a SINGLE skin in Rac??)

Here is the RaC in the skintone i liked, and a pic of the Dutch Touch to compare the details with. I hope they will add more makeups to Dutch Touch, so I can stay with them. (no lingerie on pic!)

Nope, it's not. That's why I don't buy RaC skins... agreed, they're beautifully done. But, I don't want to have to buy 6 all at once. If they were available individually, I'd probably get a couple.

Unfortunately, RaC skins only come in packs of 6 make ups for L4000. Unless you get them from a skin thief, of course. There is one around who sells RaC skin packs for L999, but I pretty much try to stick to buying from the actual designers or authorized re-sellers, if I can. I own about 6 different RaC skin packs, but I've bought them gradually over the last year. I like the choice of 6 different make-ups, though. I like matching my lip color, etc, to what I'm wearing. Also, I think they're worth it. They really seem to suit my shape, and believe me, I try on demo skins constantly.

I have yet to find another skin which looks as good on Sunni as RaC does. And I can wear any skin out of any of my skin packs, and still look like me.

I will put it out there for Naughty Designs, they have lighter makeup options with the Zoe line that are nice, and the body detail is very sexy. And you can buy skins singly or in 4-packs of related tones.

I love Chip Midnight's Sunkissed line of skins. I have four of them and hope to someday get at least two more.

/me sighs...so many skins to choose from. The new Tuli skins wasn't bad.....i really liked the "tan" tone. However, eyebrows and pubic hair is very dark. Yes, blondes aren't all blonde down there....but there should be more options. Great nipples, in my opinion, and nice shades. I'll see some of the suggestions you gave me tomorrow!

I think those look really good with your shape, Marianne. You're right that the eyebrows are dark. I bought some demos before, though, of skins with blonde eyebrows, but to me they don't look right. I guess because the blonde of the eyebrows still didn't match my favorite shades of hair very much. I pretty much stick to skins with light brown to black eyebrows, and most of them don't look too bad with blonde hair. The ones that do, I just wear lighter brown shades of hair.

It would be great if a skin designer started to offer: "Pick three, get one free" option, to choose free among all the makeup and tanned options. I really don't want many skins wirh smoky eyes, just to pick one thing. I want a tanned skin with little makeup, one tanned with smoky eyes, one light tan with smoky eyes, and a skin with focus on red lips...f.ex. It should be possible to set a vendor to let us customers buy single skins, and then register: Now you bought 3 skins...pick one skin for free. That would be really awesome! I still haven't found a skin pack where I like all makeups.

The three pictured in the post abowe is from 3 different packs, and the makeups I liked best. Since Tuli gave out a natural skin for free, i think I'm going to buy at last one skin from her. Maybe send a note first and ask about eyebrow and pubic hair color.

The problem with lips is you only seem to have 2 choices either a wide mouth or one that looks as though you've been smacked in the mush!!! I've got the Joker Lips and not only have I grown to love them but in a way being less that perfect makes you look more individual.

I LOVE that idea Marianne. I bought a few skins at the begining but as soon as I wore my Faith RAC skin that was it, hooked. But the 6 different skins are so similar that most of the time it's hardly not worth changing your skin because only you would notice.

Her skins don't suit me personally, but Launa Fauna has a store card set up you might like. Her Chai skins are 1200L each, but you can buy a 3 skin card for 3000L (save 600L), a 5 skin card for 4800L (save 1200L), or a 10 skin card for 9000L (save 3000L). The cards can be used for any combination of skin tones and makeups.

Yes, that was a really good idea! More skin sellers should do that. A pack of makeups is often just change of lip color, and the same eyemakeup.

Another Tuli skin, this one in "tears" makeup and the lighter version that "tanned" serie. The nice thing is that this is a demo skin....so I didn't have to spend 1000 L just to get a pic that matched my sadness at the moment. Another reason to buy more Tuli skins....maybe a light one with red lips.

Fleur skins on my alt. Maybe she looks even better than Marianne? Hmmmm it's good that I can transfer both eyes and shape!
Even if I have an alt, I still try to cut down on time spent in SL. But it's good to log in as the alt with no friends. She can pick up all freebies and leave quick.... soon she will be really hawt.

I have rac a couple of them Karen and Angela.. which are the ones u show?

i bought the zoe but for some reason the eyebrows make me look angry
