I'd really like to post a photo on here, but when I save to hard drive from SL, it saves it as bitmap, which isn't a compatible format, evidently, for attaching pics in posts. I don't have photoshop, and maybe I'm just having a brain hiccup, but how do I save SL snapshots to my hard drive as JPEG files?

If you open it as a bmp in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer you can save it using Control + S and then use the drop down box to change the file type.

I convert mine in GIMP...it's free! We like free! :D

Or if you are on a Mac, you can use the amazingly awesome free ImageWell. Fast, versatile, and does size reductions better than ANY image program I've used.

Not the pic I was hoping to take, a dress from Draconic Kisses!
I think I wore that for almost 4 days!
It's pretty bad when you start thinking your virtual dress might be reeking and you need to change. Inventory is umm dry cleaning? :p
So of course the natural direction was to go Tomboy!
