That's very sweet of you guys. Although for the most part I am a natural, unkempt girl (hence the hair), I admit even I could not live with the default skin!

As for you Ann... I think you are the loveliest av on the grid.

And on a more technical note, I think you are an excellent avatar photographer. I've been working on that with my supermodel alt, and I know it can be difficult to get everything looking right: angle, composition, lighting, pose, background, eye position, and so on. I am so impressed with your work and always look forward to seeing more.

Photoshopped a bit, mainly to get rid of a busy background.

One thing you can do is use "Hide Selected" in the Client menu. You then open the edit window and select the stuff you want hidden. It will put garish yellow selection lines around the stuff, but they won't show in the screenshot if you have the "show interface" option turned off in snapshots.

You can also use the various show/hide options in the Rendering section of the Client menu to hide trees, grasses, water, and such. You can actually hide all objects too, but that will (or at least sometimes does) hide your own prim attachments. (This was actually a source of great laughs when a woman walked through my background with no hair, deformed feet, and naked from the waist down! Only after I showed objects again did I realize she wasn't a complete freak.

I didn't actually decide until afterwards that anything needed hiding, that's the trouble. It was one of those things where I took a snap, background with random trees and bushes, decided afterwards to touch up a couple of spots, and it just sort of went from there.
