Apologies for contributing to the OT-fest.

Thanks for the original post, Robbie!

Loved that film, that's what it's all about (well..... IMHO obviously)! And great shame the build is gone :-(

/me runs before the lock :-)

how did this thread go from a beautiful 3d creation of a beautiful piece of art (which sadly from what I now understand is no longer in world)

to

a debate on TOS ad farms and all that other crap?

My feelings exactly. This thread started out saying, 'hey, here's a really cool video, isn't this great work?' And now the comments about the beauty of the video and the brilliant build are being buried by more and more arguments.

Here's an unusual idea: how about if you prefer endless arguing to talking about Robbie's work, you shut the hell up and take it elsewhere? This thread was started to point out a piece of art that showcases one of the best aspects of SL-- *not* as another place to argue and call each other names.

Wow... and I thought the whole purpose of the thread was for someone to say this:

From: Raymond Figtree
Imagine a world of limitless possibilities. Artists like Robbie create things of beauty and serve us all. Those into greed create eyesores like the cut up land in Nove and serve only themselves. Thank goodness for people like Robbie.

If we're going to speak of limitless possibilities we don't get to limit other's from making their money or carving their land or creating their eyesores. Why even bring it up? It's limitless, remember?

sad part is instead of concentrating on the beauty many ppl (in and out of this thread) choose to linger on the negative

it is a sad world we live in, just look around, TV, newpapers, mags, etc generally concentrate on negative aspects of whatever is in the headlines

They wont, or shouldn't lock the thread without giving a warning, but let's get back on topic, and talk about other builds like that =)

Oh have you got a lot to learn. The lock is like the wind...you never know when it will come, or from which direction.
