From: Cen Dagger I bumped into him a couple times now, his name is (name removed) He voice chats in a very creepy whispery british voice saying to stay out of his area, whenever I use "Teleport Home" to the default mainland place. He points at my character and can control me in any way and wherever I move. Then he can force me to crash, or teleport somewhere else.. he generally states all that he's doing ON the voice chat as he does it (e.g. "Now to lift you up, and throw you away, you piece of trash" or "Time to send you away" then he teleports me) and everyone in his group sits back and laughs..
How is he doing this? Well, if he POINTED at HIM <--(sorry lol) as stated in the first post, then the griever is using a weapon in mouselook. not using permission which needs no pointing. A weapon like G-force does this. You point it at anyone and you can move them around up, down, pull and push towards you. From: pointside Sunbelter As far as TP it must have been his land or he's more than likely member of group owned land. And the part about him crashing you, I know that when I have had to eject people to the edge of my property they disappear and then come back and ask me how I made them crash. I just pretended that I did it on purpose, but it must be a bug when ejected near a the sim edge.
He can't TP... "CAN'T" unless he owns or is in the group that owns the land. And the quote above is probably how he crashed "HIM" because you can't get permission to crash someone. But you can crash someone by EJECT not BAN, I have done it. It's a bug.

There is one way to be TP'd home without permission and that is if it is Damage Enabled land you can check at the top status area of SL used to be a red heart symbol. If so when hit with the damage projectile you get sent home instantly.

From: Perre Anatine I've been over that way several times now (I'm trying to find an acceptable way of motorcycling from the bridge over the Straits of Shermerville to Raiden via Barcola/Grignano/Dore). It takes me right past the scene of the crime - the brick bridge - each time. I stop and check everyone out on the off chance I might see the culprit..but not yet. Odly this evening there was some guy setting off some wierd storm thing which started with an announcement in a very English accent..for a moment I thought it was him. I'm there right now..'Obscured Sands' is playing her violin again, but no sign of our man. All you vigilantes keep note of this thread..I'm sure 'the target' will show himself eventually..not that I condone any form of reprisal..coff coff! The fellow hangs out at the brick wall across the street from the Infohub, just at the border of where objects can be created at the sidewalk. Actually, EXACTLY where the picture was taken. He is usually there between 12PM-3PM SL time, but some days he doesn't show up. I still go there because theres some cool regulars I like to talk to.

Grievers don't have to be on llPushObject land thats why I recommend these 3 anti-griever tools Mystitool, Exosia and Forced Prophecies. I wear all 3 all the time. I know who's around me and who hits me with what object at all times. If you set it sensitive enough, it tells you So-and-So Avatar bumped into you, in case he is wearing an invisibility prim and you can't see him. Exosia has a couple of protection menu. One that works in Pushed Enabled Land and one that works in Non-Push Land. If someone messes with you trap, push, orbit whatever, no matter if its push restricted or not. And the collision detection will tell you who did it and with what. From: Cen Dagger The teleport didn't show the black screen, it was in the same area, but still far away. Oh crap, now it makes since I thought you meant black screen teleport. The tp was the only thing I was confused about. I have a "worm hole" tp system I can activate in seconds and anyone that walks into it or gets pushed into it comes out on the other side, its a great escape tool. I can set both side locations. Miramare is the sim that the InfoHub is actually in. Its bordered by Grignano and Barcola. If you Fly around Miramare once and you will see that the sim is FULL of Health parcels with build rights, the other sims may also. if you get "worm holed" to one of those health parcel from there you could be teleported home instantly because its a health zone. Either way non black screen forced tp is a different story. I can see how that would blow anyones mind. Wow all this time I thought the guy was a magic scripter. Able to get around the laws of LL physics. No he is just clever. -

I didn't read through this thread, just the title caught my eye. There is an old Manfred Mann song called "There is a man". It's an obscure B side, and the lyrics go ;
"There is a man who sits in a corner of my room. No one else sees him. When I tell them there is a man who sits in a corner of my room.. They beat me (We beat him)."
Yes, I am that old to remember 45 rpm singles.

From: Saucy Hooker what in the world is a health parcel? Those are the ones that use only organic free range prims, or have damage enabled, one of those.

From: Saucy Hooker what in the world is a health parcel? By health parcel I meant Damage Enabled land. I was saying that the entire sim is not Damage enabled just some of the parcels as you fly over. You'll see the red heart at the top of your client. If you hover over it with your mouse, it says "Health". edit- lol Viktoria, you beat me to the punch. Those must be free range healthy vegan prims. -
