There must not be many Latino SL residents. Because I can't believe that Victor Manuelle or Shakira was not even mentioned! Doe ANYONE want to see any Salsa artist?!?!

Tito, Machito, Fania All Stars, Ruben Blades, Larry Harlow ,Willie Colon,El Gran Combo, etc. The new stuff is too slick, too clean. too Phony. I like a little heat to my salsa. And no, I do not care for Marc Anthony.

My $L2... Evanescence FTW. And another vote for David Bowie, Enya, and NIN. Massive Attack would be AWESOME to see, too. Oh, and Portishead, The Cure, Sigur Ros, Peter Gabriel ('specially if he does "Curtains"  , The Cranberries, and Arid. Edited to add: Orbital, Linkin Park, Prodigy, and t.a.t.u. |

I actually met Willie Colon at Jimmy's in the Bronx. I was bumbed out at the bar and he cheered me up. I agree with you regarding how "cookie cutter" the music has become! I am not a Marc Anthony fan either. I am not into music where the men wear tight pants and sing like their testicles have retracted.
I do like Victor Manuelle he sounds more manly I guess. If was to imagine the ultimate Salsa artist for a concert I am at a loss! I don't know how Shakira would translate as a avatar. I am really not a fan of her voice.
It's not looking good for the Latino virtual concert circuit here!
