I think CCR were around then, but they didn't play at Woodstock.
I wasn't even born then but guess what? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woodstock_Festival

Yeah kenbro, i think we have the griefers pretty well thought out. Controlling your own islands makes things a little easier. Hey Brenda sorry i did'nt speak earlier. I'll try my best to work on the dead acts, i've been praticing my voo doo, we'll see how it works. But back to business, we will also have venues of different sizes to accomodate acts that can't fill large arenas. Of course none of theses acts are going to be free, and there will definitely be a variable ticket pricing strategy in place. We wanted to able to sell affordable tickets throughout the venue. I guess we'll see what happens, i can't wait.

I was'nt born yet either Susie, but it would be fun to re-enact the Woodstock concert. There was a Woodstock reanactment back in 04 and it was a blast. You have got me thinking. I wonder if I could get some Celtic groups and Celtic Radio together to put on a live SL concert? I don't know if it's possible but once people hear such groups as Bottoms Up and Bob Hay & the Jolly Beggars they may swear off 80's music forever. _____________________

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things. Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut. |

Pickled Actually I just saw an interview about Ozzy. Claims his newest release was done totally sober... and his summer tour this year is going to be free. Personally I was never a fan, other than watching him self-destruct on his reality show a few times... |

I'd like it to remain the realm of the plethora of indie acts we already have performing live on a daily basis. Let's stop trying to bring all of RL into SL. Thank you Haroldth. Well said, I'm personally getting tired of the focus on big name tourists that make one stop and go away. But then again, maybe that's just my personal bias. I would really love to see some major name come in and do some shows and come out and see other folks, but afaik it hasn't happened yet. Every big name that comes in and does something seems to pop in for 1 day and never comes on again. _____________________

Kristen, in our world you will not have to worry about lag or crashing. You will be able to watch a concert among thousands of other avatars and enjoy the entertainment.

Kaklick, we will have the artists for more than one performance depending on demand. We also plan to have after parties at our club in which the artist will attend.

This is a most excellent idea. I would like to see the ALL of the old school rappers come together in one big nite! Big Daddy Kane, KRS One, The Lost Boys, LL Cool J (Before he got all ripped up and had a lip moisturizing problem), Whodini, etc.
What do you think? They are all still alive with jobs. PS: Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey (a nearly butt naked avatar!) |

I like the idea of the old school rappers revue. That would be a fun concert to see. I don't see an interest in any Latino groups, and very little interest in R&B. We have one SL dead-head. I am still making a list and checking it twice. We'll see what bands get the most requests. This is great so far, lets continue.
