I am partnered in SL to my RL husband. He is rarely inworld any more, but he is still my partner.

Okay if everyone keeps commenting on it,I am going to find it impossible to keep my big mouth shut. I apologize if I offended anyone, that was not my intention. Was just stating an opinion I hold dear and yes, this was probably not the right thread to do that in. Please carry on with the regular intent of the thread.

No offense taken, here....would have submitted a similar response.

Thanks for testing the waters. :)

/me is keeping an eye on the respondents to options 7 and 9 with some interest. ;)

Pep (Better than a dating agency! )

PS Don't worry Talarus, you're not my type. :D

Does it have any features, such as sharing stuff or other?

If it does I might marry my alt, even though he is a dog.

In my case my wife knew I would consider the whole concept utterly ridiculous and so she sent it to me as a joke with some soppy comment like "Please join with me in this sacred and holy bond that shall never be broken"

None of the responses to the poll seemed to fit very well to be honest.

Hehe. Well you know how it is, mans best friend and all I am actually pretty fond of his av, but yeh, I'm not a dog ****er. He is the land owner and stuff, so if it did have extra features it'd be worth doing.

Oh man, that's great.

When I lived in the wilderness, I had so many animals, domestic and wild and rescues. Some of the friendships among the different species where a crack up.

I really miss them.

I always wondered why she had to invite the priest to the house on that day.

There's many times I WISH I could partner or commit to something more meaningfull in SL. I admit I might be a tad jealous of those who can at times, but it's just not for me. My heart stays firmly grounded with my RL BF, where it should be. Obviously, I chose "no, and not likely ever". I'll just have to make do with friendly benefits, one-nighters, and cheap meaningless sex :o

/me reinstates option 6 as a possibility . . .

Pep ( . . . and starts another list.)

PS . . . and wonders why there isn't an option that says: "YES - It was necessary to join a Cuckolds, Hot Wives and MILFs group". Or is that option 5, diplomatically put?

I noted down "It's Romantic", BUT, I will qualify that with "between the fictional avatars".

I have three avatars that are Partnered. In each case, that avatar has a romantic relationship with another avatar. AND in each case, my PLAYER has a strictly Platonic relationship with the other avatar's Player.

My avatars are not "Me", and I never make any claims that they are.
Ditto.

I am partnered only to the darkness,
It is both my pillow and my lover,
Nothing can come between us,
For where I end the darkness begins.

I have someone in SL that i can trust with anything, do anything with, say anything to, be myself around, and i have been with her 16 months, 13 of those as my partner. It is a wonderful thing, regardless of what i have in RL, SL is a world apart and in this world i have someone that warms my heart. :)

I was tired of being hit on all the time, so partnered with my RL husband.

A good old English word, Shakespearean even.

Pep (So you knew what a MILF was then? ;) )

PS 'Cougar' is the word of 2009 - there's a movie coming out which is going to educate the masses!

/me thinks about running over to the Undying Thread and warning Ghosty that Elora has selected option 7.

Pep (It *is* just about sl, not rl, isn't it?)

Pep, did it ever occur to you that the reason for that answer is that Ghosty and I have discussed partnering and have not made a decison about it yet, particularly since we're already partnered to each other in RL? Or has that little fact somehow escaped you when you were compiling your little fact book on me?

Leave it to you to continue to start trouble which does not exist.

Say what you please and go ahead and start whatever rumors you care to. My darling llama and I sit 10' from each other in our living room. There are no secrets, and you running off into the Undying Thread to start rumors about me will be met with either silence or people telling you to shut up, because they all know what the relationship is with Ghosty and I.

I took a chance of taking you off of ignore this week. My bad. Back you go.

You really need to let this grudge go already. It's quite unbecoming of someone of your supposed intellect.

I s'pect it would be obvious why I'm not partnered. :)
