Advice on Sales!!

We have even spoke inworld, i just decided afterwards while yes they are a good idea they were not what i was really looking for. Yes those were diamonds coming from the rose, it was the best image i could find with diamonds falling, now it's been cleaned up and redone all thanks too Denise. May i ask when you have sales or free gifts do you post onto Free*Style, i've been a member with them since my start and usually a great group, just speak too a member too find if they can add you too the group and as a poster.

You even have a few Gorean style clothing if i am right, have you tried placing your stuff in a Gor Market or joining one of the groups and sending out notices, some find that's a good way too advertise.

My slurls are also in my signature if anyone else would like too critique my things aswell, i'm still in the process of sorting out a few of my designs and getting them right, hopefully they will be soon.

I have actually bought more stuff from OnRez than I have from SLX, so don't totally discount it.

Well, this got me to thinking about how much I have bought on SLX, so I went and checked. I have bought 490 items there. OMG. I wonder if I will get a prize when I hit 500!?!

I have bought very little from OnRez, but that is just personal preference. I'm glad there is more than one venue.

Re SLExchange and OnRez - I am having tons of sales from SLExchange...OK- before you guys beat down my door to ask how- let me clarify y saying it is ONLY THE FREEBIE!!!

So- they know I am out there- just not getting past the freebie- need to do something to THAT one advert that will make them click something else- that one I know they are looking at... come on peeps- little brainstorm session here please.

Added a blurb about $100 Linden rebate if they mention they saw me in SLExchange- gives me an excuse to ask them to the store and hopefully it will be an incentive to look at other things.. (fingers crossed)

I have never bought anything from SLX, and given up on them as a search engine. I have only bought 33 things from OnRez, though I use it a lot to find stuff and then go in world. Heck, one of the reasons I have "as many as" 33 purchases from OnRez is because they do not have an inworld store.

You could put a link to a similiar item you have listed on Slex right in the product description of the freebie. ("If you like this, see something similiar from my main collection here".

Also, is there a lm to your store in the box the freebie comes in?

Hi.

Your sig looks much better, because of the resolution. However, I still think it needs some tweaking. The diamonds falling out of it have no rhyme or rhythm to them. And the typography is still weak and rushed.

How about you actually encrust the rose itself with really small diamonds? Just the [inner] edge/outline of every pedal...very delicate diamonds.

If you must have them falling out, I would either do a more sweeping version as seen on Denise's version <pg. 6> (her text has better treatment as well), or I would have them realistically placed underneath the rose--laid out on the floor--perhaps with a subtle reflection of both the rose and diamonds (not the text) as if on a glass surface.

Just a few ideas. If you must keep what you have now, I would simply tell you to change the shape and placement of the diamonds--as of now they look unnaturally placed and lumped together...it's not very delicate, which is what you should be going for.

I did eventually get to your store, but from the outside, I had no idea what you were selling on the inside. In fact, your sign isn't on your store at all, it is off to the side.

How about putting a big pair of glasses on the outside of the store? That should get some attention.

The idea of placing tiny diamonds around the petals sounds great but i would not have the first idea on how too do that. I think maybe i'll just get someone too do me my logo much easier *sigh*

I have a ball I like playing with. It was at the hangout but I accidently grabbed it the other day. I do not wear neko stuff, but something that had a feline hint is neat (the easiest example that comes immediately to mind is hair styled to have "ears" but aren't really ears; in clothing . . .maybe something with slashes in it that would match claws of hand - either own hand accidently catching own clothing, or a playful pat of another kitty, or playful bite). Heck, a t-shirt with a picture of a cat on it reclining with maybe one eye open and paw slightly showing some claws with something like "back off or make me purr, your choice" . . .

Amaranthim - Visted your store today, very well laid out for me, easy too move around. Now I'm not sure if this was my PC or SL or the textures in your boxes. Some of them did not seem too load up, how big are they if you don't mind me asking?

I also noticed that your textures have quite a few images of your outfits on them, the problem i seem too found was that you have that many they seem too be squashed together and i can't see the designs very good. I'm having too really zoom in on a few.

Other than that though your store seems quite good
