i have a big job interview in one hour... for the one i needed help with writing the cover letter! :D

before and since then, i've applied for several other jobs, but now there is two jobs i want even more. i hope i can get at least one out of these three that i raelly want, and don't get offered something for the ones that i am not so interested in.

Ugh my step father just called. My mom had a mild heart attack and has pneumonia.:( She is in the hospital over in Boston,so I must go out there. Keep the thread warm for me and I will see you all when I get back.

funny you should mention that, SL came up when we were talking about how well i know photoshop....... LOL

you know how, when you apply for something, you just know right away if it's going to work out, is a fit, etc.? well, let's just say, i talk too much, tell too much, and am too honest. if they call me back for a 2nd interview or offer the job, i'll be surprised.

1st interview for a job in years. i wasn't nervous, but i forgot how to do it. i'll do better next time, i promise.

I am so bad about this - especially the too honest part. Any time I start looking for work again, it always takes a few interviews for me to remember the proper amount of honesty and the more tactful way of phrasing things. That damn 'tact' is a hard one for me - it is the one thing that will always be stated as a 'needs to work on' item in an otherwise exceptional performance review.

The rolling restart (and re-restart) to deploy (then un-deploy) 1.23.2 is chasing me around the bloody grid! First my home region restarted (going back to 1.22.4) so I headed to our second home region. Just landed there, then the restart message popped up above my head there!
