It's fine if it's from you, Claire. It's just random strangers calling me that which I find annoying.

Can I still call you "snuggle bunny"?

It's not like I can realistically hope to stop you.

Good morning everyone. I'll be eating lunch with Maureen soon! Whoot!

It was a relatively uneventful day at le Tour de France. Stage 12 was a fairly flat 168.5km or 104.7 miles. A perfect day for the sprinters. There was an early 2 man breakaway, later joined by one other rider but they were never more than a few minutes ahead and were reeled back into the peleton about 10km before the finish.

So it was a very exciting and chaotic bunch sprint at the line with U.K. Rider Mark Cavendish, of USA team Columbia crossing first for his third stage win of this year's tour.

On a less happy note, tests on Riccardo Ricco, who won stages 6 and 9, came back positive for a new kind of EPO. He was taken away by the police and his whole team, Saunier Duval-Scott team left the tour this morning.

hmmm, loooks like I've started it all again lol. Didn''t wanna derail the other thread but this is one big derail so just wanted to say:

I'm getting good at this lol....I don't even try! Even in a serious answer I managed to make a signature.

Anyway...it's there if anyone want's to use it... :D
Solid gold, I'm telling ya.

I just came across another neat lil' web gizmo- The Face Transformer.

Upload a pic of your head, follow a 2 step calibration process, pick how you wanna see your face, and see the results.

I'm going to go play with this right now! Thanks.

Phew, that makes me feel better. I did think that it's more maternal than condescending of her.

I actually like getting emails beginning with "Hi Chickie" from her. It assures me that the next sentence isn't going to be: "stop by my office so I can fire you".

:D

None of that is allowed at my job.

I can only call my fellow employees by thier first name. No hunny, darling, sweetie, chickie or other assorted names are allowed. No touching and no compliments allowed either. Wolf whistles, staring and drooling are expressly forbidden no matter how attractive the other person is.

"CX"

that's a little over the top, don't you think? ;)

I don't know what that means, but it sounds vaguely dirty, so I'm going to pass.

You must have missed the group notice he sent out saying everyone should stop by the hangout and ride his missle.

Ok, I did three (well I used every option, I mean that I used three photo sources, two from SL, one from RL).

This is me, now I transform me into . . . ah this would work better if I could slip a picture there, oh well. Ok, this is me as an apeman (real life me when I was 12, only picture I could find of myself).

RL me: work of art:

RL me: old man (remember, these pictures are using a picture in which I am 12 years old):

Blah! I can see most of that. But Geez!! When I was the only guy working in an office (mostly older women), all I ever used was "dear", as in "yes dear" in that tired, whiney husband voice.

It was nice cuz they all liked to bake and there were always cookies & cakes to be eaten :)
