Quit your job and stay home like me.:D

tried that for 3 months....hated it.
I got lonely...and bored...and ended up spending every minute in SL, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but when it means you forget to eat, or clean of look after the pets, it's not good :/

lol, I'm truly an addict.

Ugh, I left my house to discover a flat tire and no spare...my boss was unpleased when I called and it took FOREVAH to get the donut on. :(

I always wondered why my gas tank mysteriously drained so quickly. Like this morning it was on like 2 miles of gas left in the tank. I wonder where my kitties drive. I hope they have fun. Glad they wear seat belts.

Yeah it is boring as hell and I find myself getting into a lot more trouble than I normally would. But at least I don't have to get up early and fight traffic everyday:D

I've been staying home and spending too much time in SL, too...but I really need to go get a job. I'd love to make a living in SL--at least part-time. I'm not that much of an entrepreneur, though, so someone would have to hire me.

Skell, it worked! Thanks! Both flights went without any hitches, and as a matter of fact, the flight into Vegas arrived sufficiently early enough so I could hop on an earlier flight to San Diego!

So, greetings, threadies, from sunny Southern California! :)

YES!!!!

200,000 unique views!

That means there really must be at least 200,000 actual human beings in SL along with all the bots!

Good thing. Solipsism sucks.

Good morning Thread friends.
Another day of spectacular scenery for stage 11 at le Tour de France. 167.5km, 104miles, including one cat.1 climb. For much of the day one lone man, Cofidis Team rider Amael Moinard of France stayed out in front, no more than 2min. 15sec. ahead of a chase group of 11 riders. He was caught with just under 10km to go.

As none of the breakaway riders had overall times anywhere close to those of the the main contenders the peloton (main field) were largely content to let them stay away with a fairly big time gap.

It was a three man photo finish with Norwegian national champion Kurt-Asle Arvesen of team CSC taking the victory with a time of 3hours 58min. 13sec. The chase group came in about 30sec later.

All the main contenders came in together almost 15 minutes later and the overall standings did not change today.

edited to add: My team won today's stage in my fantasy cycling league. Yay!!!

I just wanted to say... I finally got the nerve up the other day and actually tried on Rha's fantastic chain body jewels- silks thing... HOLY COW!!!!!!! Well- I made my self blush and quickly added more stuff to cover up- well.. stuff- but just wanted say- OMG! Rha - how did you keep from going blind making such teensy weensy little links? And - I bought them when they were full price and let me tell you- the amount of work that must have gone into making them - worth it at that price- They are stunning! but uhm- ain't wearing them alone let me tell you- nuh-uh - they are more naked than being naked somehow.

Matter a fact- did you list these on SLExchange or OnRez? Cause I think that makes a nice blurb for a review ;)

I just experienced the slowest tire change in the history of EVER...two hours for two tires, ffs. I could have done it faster with the flimsy jack and lug wrench that came with the car!

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.
