I have already been up for 5 hours so hello to all the sleepy heads.

Here is your joke of the day:

An airline captain was breaking in a very pretty new stewardess; the route they were flying had a stay-over in another city. Upon their arrival the captain showed the stewardess the best place for airline personnel to eat, shop and stay overnight.
The next morning as the pilot was preparing the crew for the day's route, he noticed the new stewardess was missing. He knew which room she was in at the hotel and called her up, wondering what happened to her.

She answered the phone, crying, and said she couldn't get out of her room.

"You can't get out of your room?" the captain asked, "Why not?"

The stewardess replied: "There are only three doors in here," she sobbed, "one is the bathroom, one is the closet, and one has a sign on it that says 'Do Not Disturb'!"

I know, I know it is a groaner.

eugh...If my boss calls me 'sweetheart' or 'honey' in that stupid patronising tone one more time I will not be responsible for my actions...

....mumble mumble....

...anyway. I'm hoping and praying that my phone line will be up and running tonight...I'm guessing this will let me connect to the webs, but I'm not sure....it's not good to get my hopes up, but I'm sick of waiting lol. 84 mins and counting :p

None of that is allowed at my job.

I can only call my fellow employees by thier first name. No hunny, darling, sweetie, chickie or other assorted names are allowed. No touching and no compliments allowed either. Wolf whistles, staring and drooling are expressly forbidden no matter how attractive the other person is.

I can't imagine calling any of the women I work with honey or sweetheart. They really are sweethearts, but that's just patronizing. I just call them by their first names.

Edit: As much as I love truck-stop food and diners, it annoys me when waitresses call me "honey" or "sweetie". I'm a grown man. I'm not your "honey". Just bring me my bacon and cheese omelette and my coffee.
