Going uphill/upstairs is harder on the heart and lungs, going downhill/downstairs is harder on the leg muscles. Hence we huff and puff going up and hurt like hell after lots of down. There was talk of the Forum Guys writing little blurbs about the Forum Girls for the pics -- no clue if that is still in the works or not. A thought on the calendar -- is there someone that is really good with creating a collage of sorts from pics to use for the cover? Or have we already come up with another idea for the cover? True - although going up steep inclines is tough on the calf muscles. I'm hearing from them today - they are unhappy with management. Downhill will turn your thighs into mush, and the longer step down coupled with having to keep the brakes on to slow your descent is higher impact, so if you have joint problems, expecially in your knees, it can be a problem. Thank God it's just sore muscles for me. Bruise: I thought of applying for the position of quality control, but I was afraid the forum guys would put a lynch mob together. Writing blurbs for each page would be fun, though. _____________________
