hi all, I think I will share this here, just in case some of you are not watching the what is the ignore thread all about, thread. enjoy (and I think it sums up this thread pretty darn good) Since I am the creator of that thread, I will tell you why it was not deleted because the stupid forums would not let me delete it when I realized my problem was that firefox needed a restart, and got back to the thread to remove it, I couldn't so I removed the post and just said what you see there now. The rest, as they say, is history the thread was never intended to be a big thread, it was never intended to be a little thread, but it happened and now it has become a nice meeting place, where friends are made, ideas are shared and good times are had. Both tears and laughter, good times and bad, debates and sometimes disagreements, but over all it is just a group of people becoming friends is that so wrong? Me, I am happy you were unable to delete your post, oh Thread Mother. I have made some wonderful friends here. |

Yes, that "Dune" movie. And Sting was yummy. Loved the books. hated the movie...Sting Notwithstanding. On The Thread: What it has done, with a few eceptions like Today where there were some messiness scattered about., is pretty much the same thing the forming of the Forum Cartel did. It brought a lot of people together, to become friends, share experiences, help each other out, bitch at each other and so on. What it does differently, and to a better advantage is it keeps it, _for_the _most _part,in one place where anyone who doesn't like it, can avoid it fairly easily, instead of the sillines that admittedly could seem to take the entire Forum over. That is a good thing. The various sourpusses out there who want to piss on it do so because as it is one place for the nonsense, it isn't a big enough stage for them to get their jollies by clucking their tongues and patting themselves the back over how above it they all are. Yeah. we're a bunch of goofy attention whores. So what. Better that, than to snipe from the shadows. _____________________
