You have yet again succeeded in piquing my interest- sadly, I am sure it will be one of those things I will just wonder about. I am however, smiling so big for you and your lady that you had such a lovely experience :D.

Morning Threadites!

Those oysters are looking mighty appealing right now. Bloody Mary too. Hope everyone is well today!

I'm at work, so today I can participate in the festivities here. Isn't that just SO wrong? ;)

And Amara, thanks for the shoes again! LOVE THEM.

I had to make do with a fried egg and a slice of ham and had to forgo alcohol entirely- damn RL! :D

Glad you like the shoes, Elora! This gives me hope I may be able to add shoes to my repertoire. I would like to rez a pair for freebies in the stores- that might be a cool incentive. :)

In that case, the rest of the forumites should be glad these forums are PG, so I keep most of the stories to myself *grin*.
Ain't it weird that in SL I am merely a simple furniture maker/seller LOL

Yep, Amara made a lovely pair of low heeled, copper sequined slip-on style. Quite dainty. I was wearing them with jeans last night because that's what I had on when she asked me to try them. I was also wearing a kind of boy-beater t-shirt and strangely, they actually looked good with that get-up, tho on first glance you wouldn't think to pair them together. She did a really nice job with them, for a first try :)

It is. I, am a recent convert to the craft.
/me bows down to all who create such wonders.
For far to long, I did not understand. I now, am in complete awe of those who create these things. Truly, I can't get enough of them now :)

Most of my SL is walked on flipflops, so I do not see too many shoes :-) Have some boots that go with my gothic sets of clothes though and I agree, some of them are made extremely well.
Then again, I admire anyone making kewl stuff in SL, probably not enough female genes to have that shoe thing :D Will ask Brendas sister about it though....

Yep, I spent the first month or so in SL in bare feet because I thought most shoes were pretty clunky affairs. Then I realized I was shopping in the wrong places :)

Armidi has a super delicious new heeled sandal. And you just can't go wrong with Maitreya.

I spent my first week bald because I thought it looked better than slider hair and I wanted to make my own prim hair.

Well, nothing wrong with bare feet either. Or at least if SL would make good toes ;) I still don't know why I have to pay extra in a pair of shoes, to get digits on my feet

Plus, Baby Monkey gives away a crazy amount of freebies if you join their group. I blame Ms. Pixieplumb alone for my ever-expanding and about to explode inventory but wouldn't give back a single thing of hers :)

Mornin' folks! It's good to be back after a long weekend! What did I miss? Anything good? I logged on a few times, but I was pretty busy, and when I got online, there weren't many people on. I really need to get online when the parties are happening!

We had a huge turnout last night at the Cartel :)

I didn't get home until late - Father's Day. It's always a little depressing. It's a chance to remember my father who passed away a couple years back and a chance for my ex-wife to tell me what a horrible father I am and how if I were a real father I would... blah, blah, blah.

At least I get to see them and spend the day hanging out. Now I'll just buckle down and move on with my week.

That's sad Trout. I lost my dad several years back, as did my husband. We have no kids, so Father's Day is null and void for us. I'm sorry your ex makes you feel so low about your parenting skills. I'm sure you do the best you can, given whatever circumstances you're dealing with - as most people do.

/me hugs you too :)

Lets all make a nice girly circle around Trout today and help him forget his woes ;)
