Pfffft, so why pretend you're a barely-seen blue shirt in the corner of a picture? Why not just say: "When I was there, this is what it looked like."
The desired effect was probably not to once more display your bizarre illusions of grandeur.
The desired effect was exactly that which I provoked. Scylla, who has little depth of understanding under her veneer of false intellectual posturing (a little like you, except your poor English lets you down) was fooled. If I had wanted to bother I could have copied that photo on a web gallery and thereby prevented discovery of the sham, but the way I did it redoubled the foolishness of those that believed I was the guy in the blue shirt.

French, no less! Is that impressive because she's no doubt a nobel prize-winning swimsuit model by virtue of being French, because we all know that's the type to go for pear-shaped retired bookkeepers.
I mentioned she was French because you all seem mistakenly to believe I am xenophpobic, when I merely point out the foolishness of those for whom English is not their first language in attempting to communicate anything but the simplest concepts in an English language forum. Oh, and she is much too good for me, I agree, but I pretty much still have my pro football physique, I am not retired and I may be a qualified Chartered Accountant (that has more credibility than a CPA, by the way) but I have never done any bean counting in my long and illustrious career, preferring to rake in the consultancy fees from people who usually don't really want to be told the truth - does that remind you of something?

From: Brann Georgia
And, heaven knows, while taking generic-looking pictures of cloisters you wouldn't want to be mistaken for a tourist, so going there with a FRENCH person instead of your long-suffering wife will save you from that shame.
Why carry coals to Newcastle?

Pep (Sorry, I realise that you haven't a clue what that last comment of mine was about - try looking at http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/carry-coals-to-newcastle.html )

Wow, someone's been really busy...
The amusing thing of course is that anybody that looks at the forums after they have been closed is extremely unlikely to have anyone set on ignore - if the forum-meisters allow them to select settings at all in viewing the archives.

Pep (So all the noobs will be reading my posts and laughing at those who appear to be ignorant of it.)

Ask Mo - she has met me.

I did ask her, when I met her in San Diego. She won't break TOS by discussing you, dammit.

Yeah, that costume was a gift from Grandma. I took a few pics, and let him greet trick or treaters for a little while, then took it off.

This may be a surprise, but I am a trains geek. I've been using Trainz Railroad Simulator for years, and while I am still using the 2004 version, I will be getting the 2010 version once I get a new machine. So....a few pics from my Trainz file to keep that post count climbing.

For the train fans, here are a couple of pics. If you ever get a chance to do the train trip through Copper Canyon in northwest Mexico I highly recommend it.

Well, it is Super Bowl Sunday and Monday starts what promises to be a very hectic week at work. That and the fact that we don't know exactly when the forums will cease to be, I had better say something now.

I'd like to put together a long detailed post telling each of you how much I've enjoyed getting to know you a little in this thread. I'd like to say how much I've enjoyed being a small part of the amazing group of people, but that may not happen. So, I'll just say thanks for all the smiles and laughs and for letting me be a part of it all.

Take care, be well, and I'll look forward to seeing you all where ever we end up next. Who knows, after the forums are gone maybe I'll spend more time inworld and get a chance to spend time with some of you there. That would certainly be a silver lining to this sad ending.

Adios for now,
Tex

PS: If you are ever at a car show and see a guy with a scruffy beard taking pictures of hubcaps, say hello. It just might be me. :)
