I sent them both IMs inworld a few weeks ago...but never heard back.

it's at the bottom and says "reply to original post" or something like that. there's no way to track it. so it's gonna disappear soon enough if it isn't responded to regularly. ah well, it was the thought that counts.

Argh. I was so upset about this mess that I couldn't sleep last night. I had to meditate for an entire hour before I was calm enough to fall asleep. Then I was up at 5, wide awake, wanting to crack open the laptop and see what people were saying.

Nika had a great post on the LL blog about how a VP should have made the announcement, and not left Yoz and Blue to catch all the flak.

In a little while I'm going for a long walk to try to cool off again.

It was a 1000th post image, but I guess the person's account is inactive. I'm going back to change it, but here it is.

A year or so ago and I would probably have been hurt and angry. Now, I just don't care about anything that company does or says any more. Since I never was able to walk away from this forum, I am relieved to see it close, preventing me from being exposed to any more of their garbage. They aren't worth my trust, interest or consideration. They've shown what they are, and what they have planned for SL and I don't like either one bit. Once again, I hope they get their More Predictable Experience, and I hope the choke on it. I don't believe in The Metaverse, or that SL will be the Next Internet, but it could have been something very unique and special, and may have been able to help change the human condition in soe ways, but all that has been destroyed by greed and incompetence on the part of it's owners.

I finally got around to reading the proper announcement and discussion. Fat lot of good it did me lol, I'm now mad and have a headache from that nasty colourscheme.
