An ya, I should prob'ly write about the weekend (which was a three day one) too while I'm at it. :-)

A lot of my time was spent building, working on projects for a hoped-for Burning Life camp, a few upcoming projects for Livingtree, and for a small plot of land in Nova Albion. The latter is mostly done now and is out of the workshops and on the ground. Here's what it looks like so far:

I still need to add a bit more to it, like fleshing out the informational walls and stuff, adding a few things I want to sell there, an so on. But the basic build is done, an I'm pretty happy with it. Seems to fit the neighborhood while still standing out.

Friday was the second day of classes at HardKnock Elementary, and already a special day as we went to Nemesis and were entertained by Caliandris Pendragon and her Starax wand. I so wish I'd gotten one of those when I had the chance! Then later that night my brother Pygar got himself soooooo busted.

Saturday was the big, last fireworks show of the season. We had a huge crowd, an a huge show to go with. Folks hung around for some time afters, too, dancin an playin until the cows came home. THen we danced and played on them, too.

Sunday started off with Kid Scouts, where we learned about fire safety. Sorta. Mostly how to set backfires, I think. Anyway, it gave me a chance to make a sorta vanity piccie in uniform.

This was also the day the terrible news about Garth Fairchang made it around. As soon as I heard there was a memorial at FairChang Vista NW, I went and laid a candle and rose. Folks like Garth an his wife Pituca are, IMO, the soul of Second Life. I hope a permanent memorial will also be set up in the Linden Memorial Garden

An that's my weekend. Some highs, some lows, and a lot of fun to be had. I hope all ya'll had good ones, too, and super weeks ahead.

Whoa, Cody - awesome!

Am I the only one thinking about the Star Trek "Generations" movie?
Now that you mention it. Great build, Cody.

Wow, just wow! :D

I won't mention anyone in particular because it would be a shame to leave anyone out. Awesome pics all.

Thanks Tex. I was wondering how to say this.

Why good morning everyone!

I can't begin to catch up with the weekend goings-on. So I'll just say happy Tuesday.

Everyone have fun, and don't do anything I wouldn't do. ;)

Morning everyone. Hope you all had a great weekend.

Wanted to post this pic. I was pretty happy with how it came out, although it's pretty hard to take a bad picture on an AM Radio sim. Larger version is here http://www.flickr.com/photos/elischlegal/3891859012/sizes/l/

Great Pic Eli :)

I love the AM Radio sims, they always seem to fit whatever mood I'm in and I can explore them over and over and still find new stuff.

Nice work Mar. :) The Bay City Airport story is excellent, it is something that has annoyed me as well. "Your Dreams of Flight" was excellent! It makes a nice bookend with my "Aviator"
story from a few weeks back. I'm going to add a link to your blog on mine.

Wow Eli! That's an awesome shot. I love the effect, and how you made it look very much like a painting. Very well done.

This is the only reason we look forward to Mondays, or Tuesdays in this case. Even the lows are beautiful in how they bring a community together. Thank you for sharing.

I'm still reading Feline's and Elora's blogs (from the beginning) and put Mari's and Claire's on my list.

Claire, why didn't you call yours "With Butter On It!" ???

It's been a wild weekend, lots of fun inworld and out. I feel as though I've been away from work for a week!

And can I say that I love a short workweek? woo hoo! I had a job once where they gave me the option of working of 5 eight-hour days or 4 ten-hour days, so I took the four. I always worked the Monday, though.

/me sends hugs all around!

Thank you. That picture is right out of SL. No photo shop or any post processing. That's just how good AM Radio is.
