Morning all -- definitely not a GOOD one yet. Plugged sinuses, sinus headache and for some odd reason I also have a tummy ache this morning.

/me wanders off for more coffee

my morning is starting rough too. after the party i proceeded to finish the WHOLE bottle of wine, by myself ( i usually only have one small glass). i should never bring a bottle to the computer. ugh.

i don't even want to try to remember what i did after the SL party ended. it's all a blur, but i know part of it involved me traipsing out through the woods in the dark, and i lost one of my glasses lenses. :confused: it's gonna be a long day. :confused:

Thanks all. I am starting to come to life and feel better. Sinuses are mostly unplugged and head is down to a tiny light roar.

This morning I took my younger sister to get her hair cut, and afterward we went to Borders so she could pick up the "Encyclopedia of Immaturity".

While we were at checkout, I saw this book ("Pride And Prejudice And Zombies";):



I started laughing and picked it up. The boy at the cash register told me it was very funny and asked if I'd "read the original."

"Oh, yeah, I'm a big Jane Austen fan," I replied.

So I bought it, brought it home, and showed my mother. "I need something to read on vacation," I told her.

"Oh...," she said. "You have to cover that. I can't... I can't look at that. You have to cover it."

SO

Big news. Due to unexpected monies arriving (another story), my mother, my younger sister and I are going on a caribbean vacation together. I'm going to keep notes, and if they are promising, I will start a blog when I come back. I'll let you know before I leave.

I think I have a book slip (is that what you call it?) around here somewhere...

lol... /me is a little frightened of that book cover. :D And I just read they're looking into making it into a movie! :eek: :p

But yay on the vaycay! I'm already looking forward to reading your notes / diary / blog entries. :)

Thanks to all who came and to all who wished me well. It was a very fun party. But we are usually a fun crowd. I hope Claire found her clothes and that 3Ring didn't mind having the sprinklers turned on her.
