From: Brenda Connolly To add irony to the story, I was in Hoboken on Wednesday night at a street festival. i met the Mayor who was working behind the bar at the beer tent. He bought me and my friends a round of beers. Next morning , they take him away in handcuffs. Good God! From: Weston Graves I am more concerned about his sitting on an archeological find than with any private conversation with a girl. What - politicians aren't supposed to have a libido? If we have to have politicians in this world, I prefer that they be human (if not canine). I feel that way too, but remember that when Clinton lied in a similar way, some considered it a crime against humanity. .

This morning I took my younger sister to get her hair cut, and afterward we went to Borders so she could pick up the "Encyclopedia of Immaturity". While we were at checkout, I saw this book ("Pride And Prejudice And Zombies" : I started laughing and picked it up. The boy at the cash register told me it was very funny and asked if I'd "read the original." "Oh, yeah, I'm a big Jane Austen fan," I replied. So I bought it, brought it home, and showed my mother. "I need something to read on vacation," I told her. "Oh...," she said. "You have to cover that. I can't... I can't look at that. You have to cover it." SO Big news. Due to unexpected monies arriving (another story), my mother, my younger sister and I are going on a caribbean vacation together. I'm going to keep notes, and if they are promising, I will start a blog when I come back. I'll let you know before I leave. I think I have a book slip (is that what you call it?) around here somewhere... .

From: LittleMe Jewell That damn book is never going to come out -- his last official update about it was Jan 2008 and he still had no clue when he would finish it. Damn it, why do I read series that are not complete? This is why I have started just collecting the books in a series but not actually reading them until they are done. In the mean time, I have started going back and reading a lot of the Forgotten Realms series that I never read. I have about 5/6 series going atm, all waiting for the next installment. Then I'll read that and wait again. And I keep adding more. The stories are beginning to get mixed up in my head lol.

. My issue with Clinton was that he lied while under oath to a Grand Jury. Any regular Joe Citizen would be tossed in jail for perjury. I get pissed about all the politicians, lawyers and corporate big shots getting to flaunt the laws with little to no consequences.

I heard a suggestion on the radio today that all politicians be limited to 2 terms... One in office, and one in jail.

From: Malia Writer Mrrrrowrrrrr! From: Kaimi Kyomoon What a beautiful - Burmese, right? From: Zena Randt Awww... what a sweet kitty, Soji! Makes me want to run out and get one or two... but then I think of my furniture... hmmm... maybe not.. I'll just admire all of your pets. :) From: Maureen Boccaccio That is one fine grill, my friend. :D
And...you're quite fluffy in RL! :p From: 3Ring i love your kitty. Thanks :) I'm a Birman. Or Soji is, but then I'm Soji. I confuse myself (I had to come up with a name quickly to go to a meeting in world, I named myself after one of my kitties). From: Maureen Boccaccio Is there such a thing as too much lingerie? I think not. :) Well . . . I'll buy some then, I guess. What will I do with it, though? The kitties: Very rare to see them all together. Soji, Maui, Minky. Oh, and puppies - I've had a puppy avatar for a long time now. Then, I seem to have most.

We were sitting here watching television, when it suddenly dawned on us that tonight was Chris' party!! And we flaked and missed it!! We feel terrible!! (O.O) We're fairly sure we know what the gathering was like, though: Reserved, adult behavior at distinguished Cartel gathering Chris obviously having a great time with fellow Cartel members The cake must have been fabulous! Happy birthday, Chris!

From: Damien1 Thorne I heard a suggestion on the radio today that all politicians be limited to 2 terms... One in office, and one in jail. Can we skip the term in office and send them straight to jail the moment they announce their candidacy? Please allow me to send my wishes to our favorite redneck for many more Happy Birthdays. I was hosting a RL prty which precluded me from joining in the festivities, but I'm sure it was up to the usual Cartel High/Low standards.
